ICPNA PROJECTS COURSE: B03 TEACHER: Alejandro Pariona Dear Coordinator; My B03 students will apply their knowledge

of the target language (vocabulary and grammar). they will have to elaborate their presentation as follows: Choose a family member or a friend, or a favorite singer, or a favorite actor / actress, or an athlete. Prepare short personal information about the person. Describe what his / her daily schedule is using the simple present tense including the time and using at least 10 different verbs. Point out what his / her favorite weekend activities are and the kind of person he / she is on weekends. Tell the class about his /her birthday, his /her special occasion, or favorite festival using at least 10 other verbs. Use in their presentations frequency adverbs.

ACTIVITIES: Have students work in pairs or alone and ask them to work carefully. SOME ASSESSMENT: Give students a project in which they must use their creativity. I will be asking their drafts from time to time. FOR EVALUATION: I will follow the rubrics that ICPNA suggests. DATE OF PRESENTATION: The projects will be presented on the scheduled day.

La presentacin muestra un excelente uso de ayudas visuales y esta lgicamente estructurada. El uso del idioma durante la presentacin es adecuado, claro y lgico en su mayor parte. La presentacin es organizada y muestra buen uso de ayudas visuales. Algunos errores sintcticos y semnticos son evidentes El uso del idioma es poco planeado y es difcil seguir la

presentacin. La presentacin es pobremente estructurada y el uso de las ayudas visuales es inadecuado. La presentacin no corresponde al tema planteado y no muestra algn planeamiento. No realiza la presentacin. ICPNA PROJECTS

They will have to elaborate their presentation as follows: Choose a family member or a friend, or a favorite singer, or a favorite actor / actress, or an athlete. Prepare brief personal information about the chosen person and describe what he /she does as routine activities using the simple present tense and at least 10 different verbs. Describe what he / she looks like (age, weight, height, hairstyle, color hair, eye color). Point out what he / she is doing at the moment (use the imagination), use ten different verbs. Tell the class how he greets his family or friends or other people. Explain the class how he / she feels before certain situations (a test, a date, about a summer vacation). Finally, let the class know what he / she has or needs for a family reunion using count and non-count nouns.
