With the blessings of Amma Chandrawati Education Society which is in the field of education since 2000, has an aim of providing quality technical education was nurtured. The society established its first women institute as Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women (RCEW) in year 2002. RCEW has been established with a vision to impart futuristic technical and management education to serve the nation with a most proficient flux of engineers and management professionals.

Library Central Library occupies a place of pride in RCEW Jaipur and is an essential place of the institute's outstanding research and education mission. The mission of the Central Library is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources and enhancing the learning skills of students. The Institute has a spacious and well equipped library which is being run according to online public access catalog sytem (OPAC). It has rich collection of about 30,000 volumes of books, periodicals, reports and reference materials. Our library also has online journals like IEEE, ACM, AMSC, SPRINGER and ASME. The book bank facility is also available for the students. E-portal of library is having all the facilities like access to journals & references, previous year question papers, suggested books, faculty notes and access to digital library. DELNET and Video Viewing facilities are also available through local intranet of the college.

An exclusive multiple track sports ground for athletics has also been developed to provide excellent infrastructure for regular sports activities. Gymnasium Healthy mind stays in healthy body, campus hostel maintains a well-equipped gymnasium for it. RCEW Gym is dedicated towards improving the health, fitness and wellbeing of our students. Bank & ATM An extension counter of AXIS Bank with ATM is in college premises to withdraw money within the campus and for maintaining a saving account with the bank. The facility of loan is also provided by the banks in order to provide education loan assistance to the desirous students.

Besides fulfilling the medical needs it also look after the personal problems of students in most caring and sharing environment. Anti Ragging Policy

RCEW - Anti Ragging Policy

Institute Regulations on curbing the menace of Ragging. Ragging is a criminal offence as per the Supreme Court verdict. Ragging is an offence under section 498a. of the Indian Penal Code and RGUHS Notification No. AUTH/427/2009-201 dated 01.8.2009, which defines ragging as : Punishments against Ragging: Depending upon the nature and gravity of the offence as established by the Anti-Ragging Committee of the Institution, the possible punishments for those found guilty of ragging shall be any one or any combination of the following: Suspension from attending classes and academic privileges Withholding / withdrawing scholarship / fellowship and other benefits forfeiting Campus Placement opportunities / recommendation Debarring from appearing in any test/ examination or other evaluation process Withholding of results Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national or international meet, tournament, youth festival etc. Suspension / expulsion from the hostel Cancellation of Admission Rustication from the institution for a period, ranging from 1 to 3 years Expulsion from the institution and consequent debarring from admission to any other institution for a specific period Fine of Rupees 25,000/Collective punishment: When the persons committing or abetting the crime of ragging are not identified, the institution, shall resort to collective punishment as deterrent to ensure community pressure on the potential raggers. In addition, in case of every single incident of ragging, A First Information Report (FIR) will be filed with the local police authorities. The possible punishment includes rigorous imprisonment (incompliance with the order of Supreme Court of India) In the case of any ragging incident, the students may immediately call and bring it to the notice of the authorities for necessary help, guidance andaction. The freshers / Junior students are hereby instructed that they should immediately report the matter to the authorities, should not participate in any kind of "Introduction meet" anywhere inside/outside the campus, desist from doing anything against their will event if ordered by the seniors and that they should immediately report the matter to the authorities. The students have nothing to fear as the institution cares for them and shall not tolerate any atrocities.

"Causing inducing, compelling or forcing a student, whether by the way of practical joke or otherwise, to do any act which detracts from human dignity or violates his/her personal dignity or exposes him/her to ridicule from doing any lawful act, By intimidating him or by using criminal force on him/her or by holding out to him/her any threat of intimidation, wrongful confinement, injury or the use of criminal force." "Ragging in all its forms is totally banned at RCEW including in its departments, constituent units, all its premises (academic, residential, sports and cafeteria whether located within the campus or outside and in all means of transportation of students whether public or private. The institution shall take strict action including but not limited to criminal proceeding and/or cancellation of admission against those found guilty of proof shall hereby lie on the perpetrator of alleged ragging and not on the victim. An offence of Ragging may be charged either on a written complaint by the affected or on independent finding by the Anti-Ragging Squad. The Institution is bound by the AICTE / UGC Regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in Higher Educational Institutions 2009." Complying with the directives of the Honorable Supreme Court of India and RGUHS Notification dated No: AUTH/427/20092010 dated 1.8.2009 and DCI Notification No: 167-2008/ A10119 dated 27.3.2009; an Anti-Ragging Squad is formed for overseeing the implementation of the recommendations of the Anti-Ragging Verdict. This squad comprising teaching faculty/Supporting staff, administrators and woman representatives (various sections of the campus community) will have vigil, oversight and patrolling functions. It will be mobile, alert active at all times and is empowered to periodically inspect the places of potential ragging. It will make surprise raids on hostels and other hot spots. The squad shall investigate incidents of ragging, make recommendations to the Institution level Anti-Ragging committee and shall work under the overall guidance of the said committee.
