Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Pemerintah akan mengubah kurikulum Sekolah Dasar, Sekolah Menengah Pertama, Sekolah Menengah Atas,

serta Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan dengan menekankan aspek kognitif, afektif, psikomotorik melalui penilaian berbasis test dan portofolio saling melengkapi. "Siswa untuk mata pelajaran tahun depan sudah tidak lagi banyak menghafal, tapi lebih banyak kurikulum berbasis sains," kata Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Mohammad Nuh kepada pers di Kantor Wapres di Jakarta, Selasa. Hal tersebut disampaikan Nuh usai memberikan presentasi mengenai pengembangan kurikulum 2013 yang dihadiri Wakil Presiden Boediono. Hadir dalam jumpa pers itu Wakil Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Musliar Kasim. Dikatakan Nuh, orientasi pengembangan kurikulum 2013 adalah tercapainya kompetensi yang berimbang antara sikap, keterampilan, dan pengetahuan, disamping cara pembelajarannya yang holistik dan menyenangkan. Untuk tingkat SD, katanya, saat ini ada 10 mata pelajaran yang diajari, yaitu pendidikan agama, pendidikan kewarganegaraan, Bahasa Indonesia, matematika, IPA, IPS, seni budaya dan keterampilan, pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan, serta muatan lokal dan pengembangan diri. Tapi mulai tahun ajaran 2013/2014 jumlah mata pelajaran akan diringkas menjadi tujuh, yaitu pendidikan agama, pendidikan Pancasila dan kewarganegaraan, Bahasa Indonesia, matematika, seni budaya dan prakarya, pendidikan jasmani, olahraga dan kesehatan, serta Pramuka. "Khusus untuk Pramuka adalah mata pelajaran wajib yang harus ada di mata pelajaran, dan itu diatur dalam undang-undang," kata Nuh. Salah satu ciri kurikulum 2013, khususnya untuk SD, adalah bersifat tematik integratif. Dalam pendekatan ini mata pelajaran IPA dan IPS sebagai materi pembahasan pada semua pelajaran, yaitu dua mata pelajaran itu akan diintegrasikan kedalam semua mata pelajaran. Dikatakan untuk IPA akan menjadi materi pembahasan pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan matematika, sedangkan untuk IPS akan menjadi pembahasan materi pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKN). Mendikbud mengatakan, kurikulum 2013 itu diharapkan bisa diterapkan mulai tahun ajaran baru 2013, tapi sebelumnya akan diuji publik sekitar November 2012. "Masyarakat bisa memberikan masukan atas setiap elemen kurikulum mulai dari standar kompetensi lulusan, standar isi, standar proses hingga standar evaluasi. Adanya uji publik ini diharapkan kurikulum yang terbentuk telah menampung aspirasi masyarakat," papar Nuh.
