    Steps Painting Work

    Hazards Inhalation Fumes, vapors and gases generated during use. Burns due to Hot surface of paint stripper, contact with paint stripper element Electric shocks due to improper operational & maintenance.

    Control Measures to be Enforced Properly ventilate work area, use disposable respirators. Drip trays shall be used to avoid any leakage of painting liquids. Minimum quantity of the paint shall be store at the site. All painting material shall be stored at well ventilated areas. All painting material shall be used as per manufacturers provided material safety data sheets. All painting activities shall be carried out by experienced workers. All operatives of paints shall be explained the hazards & their precaution associated with the paints. All workers shall be fully equipped with safety shoes, hand gloves, hard helmet, face shield & cover-alls. Washing facility shall be available to wash the effected parts of the body by paints.
