- Common-rail, Pressure-timed, Unit injection and mechanical fuel injection are all fuel systems in which I have a large amount of experience. - Experience with container lifts as well as excavation machinery, this consisted of carrying out fault diagnosis, planned/preventative maintenance and running-repairs on mostly Volvo Penta D-series diesel plant as well as Caterpillar C-series diesel plant. - Lead a team of 8 marine engineers and 4 boat builders in equipping-for-service and de-commissioning vessels in their entirety. - Undertaken and supervised projects ranging from substantial GRP/steel repairs to complete extensive mechanical and electrical re-fits including financial control of a wide range of vessel types and configurations. - Played large roles in putting compiling build specifications, have been required to provide technical and functional expertise in hull and marine engineering aspects of the design review, throughout the build process right up to Pre Delivery Inspection and personally Sea trialling vessels. Achievements - Co-ordinated a team of marine engineers on-board a purpose built vessel to ensure the Olympic torch during the opening ceremony of the London 2012 games with David Beckham on-board was transported on time and safely.
