PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
WASTE SPECIALTIES, INCORPORATED President (January 1998 to current) Responsible for working with clients to address everyday waste stream problems as well as developing and researching cutting edge solutions that target effective landfill management. Coordinated and managed programs focused on promoting global sustainability and environmental health through the growth and development of environmentally preferable products, services, and organizations. Accomplishments: Consulted senior executives across multiple industries and developed recycling programs that lowered their waste expenses by more than 75%. Responsible for the delivery of all direct onsite activities at client locations including recycling facilities, landfills and hazardous and non-hazardous distribution sites. Developed hospital Roadmaps that provide continued enhancements towards GreenHealth practices and goals as well as reduction in waste costs. Managed and conducted over 500 LEED and non-LEED comprehensive waste audits. Developed customer waste and recycling tracking software allowing vendors to attach key data to their invoices and improve billing efficiencies by more than 50%. Develop and provide education and training to contractors and subcontractors involved in customers construction and demolition projects. SOLID WASTE SOLUTIONS Chief Operations and Management Director (January 1999 to December 2012) Responsible for the development of high-level strategies for customers seeking to leverage industry expertise in waste management for niche problem segments (waste audits, waste minimization programs, creating and writing SOPs, and compliance.). Designed and implemented organic waste programs for large volume commercial and public generators. Served as waste and recycling consultant for Federal agencies including the General Service Administration and Public Building Services. Accomplishments: Managed a 2 million dollar division of the company that drove effective waste audit and recycling program efficiencies. Managed over 250 projects centered on the strategic planning and development of corporate sustainability programs throughout the US. Aligned with industry executives to develop strategies that would affect the corporate bottom line as well as enhance their stakeholder value in the environment. Developed education and training programs targeting C-level executives down to production employees. Provided on-site waste reduction programs for Fort Gordon, Ft. Leavenworth and Ft. Campbell U.S. Military bases. Managed over 1500 comprehensive non-LEED waste audits. Managed over 100 LEED EBOM wasteaudits. Developed the report formats and programs for monitoring waste stream generation and diversion. Managed customers electronic waste and universal waste.

WASTE MANAGEMENT, INC. Director of Strategic Planning and Recycling (April 1995 to December 1998) Served as expert on expanding municipal waste and recycling programs. Established construction and demolition programs for commercial customers. Responsible for waste minimization education and training to Waste Management operations and sales personnel. Directed National Accounts on setting up waste minimization initiatives for Waste Management customers. Accomplishments: Worked closely with Fortune 500 organizations including Kraft Foods to implement a comprehensive recycling program for 52 different Kraft Food processing locations. Responsible for the implementation and oversight of major recycling programs including the Democratic National Convention and Mobils plastic oil bottle recycling program.

Managed and provided oversight for local programs including county compost programs, the Chicago Blue Bag Program and the Chicago OHare Airport Waste Management Program

Superfund Remedial Manager (June 1993 to April 1995) Responsible for the management and remediation of Superfund sites obtained through acquisitions. Environmental Engineer (February 1990 to June 1993) Served as Project Manager for Waste Management properties specializing in UST and landfill management. Worked in collaboration with Chemical Waste Management on affiliated remediation projects.
