PROJECT Project Name Client Telstra Environment & Application Support (Current PROJECT) Telstra Corporation (Australia), a Telecom Enterprise. ISL (Integration Services Layer) provides the Middleware service for Telstra business applications. The middleware application is deployed in WebSphere Application server. The communications are facilitated through TIBCO EMS, WebSphere MQ, IBM HTTP servers. We provide end to end support service to the application servers as administrators. Production environment is integrated under WebSphere Integration platform containing J2EE applications running under WebSphere Application Server (WAS). Project is based on Golden Topology where the goal is to lay the foundation for a scalable WebSphere Process (WPS) clustered environment. The production environment (Dual cell clustered) consists of Deployment Manager on the top of hierarchy where the applications are installed. The load is distributed over Node Agents with underlying Web Servers, Application Servers, Messaging Servers (for inter-application communication) & Support Servers. The Prod Environment is hosted on SUN SOLARIS (UNIX) systems. WebSphere Application Server v6.1, WebSphere Process Server v6.1, Oracle 10g, Rational Clear case, HP Quality Center, Putty, BMC Remedy Tool. WebSphere Administrator/ Environment Support Engineer Support and Maintenance of Production and Non Production Environments. Provide end-to-end support service to the Application Servers as administrators. Release Management - Perform N/W build & deployment of code in Prod and supporting various customer/application testing environments (CATs/APTs) as well. Defect Fixing and Incident Management - Primarily responsible for the Restoration of Critical and High Priority Environment related Incidents/ Defects and facilitate the Restoration of Medium and Low Priority Environment related Incidents/Defects.
