The Sorcery of Apprenticeship

In the article, The Sorcery of Apprenticeship, Wilfried Prewo discussed about how economical conditioning in Germany in order to build economic productivity by using apprenticeship method. In order to succeed in todays global economy, Germany making apprenticeship programs that brings many benefits. The benefits of the programs are, the training is based on the work place, it offers a smooth transition from school to training to work, the money is not wasted on unnecessary training, and it strengthens the tradition of internal advancement. I can speak only from my knowledge, but I agree with Wilfried Prewo for increasing young work-skill and economic control for a nation by using apprenticeship method. I can say that apprenticeship are some kind of phase which consist both learning and working. However, I believe that there are solutions to decrease the level of crime in America. Wilfried Prewo said that in order to succeed in todays global economy, a nation must have an educated labor force and must help its young people make a smooth transition from school to work. From my own opinion, I readily agree with Wilfried statement. Young people surely feels a transition from school to work because the new experiences to work that sometimes can be problems for the labor forces, because of studys world and works world are totally different. In studys world knowledge is the most important thing, but in works world not only knowledge soft skill and jobs skill are important too. In the work's world there are totally different about situations, partnerships, competitions between them during their work's time. So, it is necessary that a nation help its young people to pass the transition between study and work smoothly. In the article, Wilfried Prewo stresses that by the program money is not wasted on unnecessary training. I do agree that it will not waste our money. For example, when some people want to be a doctor, they just have to trained in hospital or the other place thats suitable with their job. It is not necesary they have to trained in garage to have an engineer training. It means the program is walks effectively. Because of that, the money that they use for training is used effectively, and they can spent some of their money for another necessary.

In summary, my personal beliefs about apprenticeship viewing are almost alike with Wilfried Prewo, apprenticeship program that use in Germany have many benefits to bring their nation to the economical global success and another nations can be imitate that way to bring their nation to the economical global success too. Apprenticeship method will always gives us good impact as long as it driven properly. By joining apprenticeship it will increase benefit both worker side and company side. I believe that learning theory in school or college is not enough. We need to practice our skills in order to improve us become an expert.
