INTRODUCTION In the name of Allah s.w.t, the Most Gracious and The Most Merciful, Lord Of The

Universe. A bountiful of salawat to our beloved Prophet Muhammad s.a.w., who showed us the guiding light as doing our duty as Caliphs on Earth. Alhamdulillah, with the consent of Allah s.w.t , we were able to finish this paper work.

As Muslimahs, we are obligated to obey Allahs commands and one of it is covering the aurah. As we all know, a Muslimah must cover all parts of her body except for her face and her palms. Covering the aurah does not just mean covering the skin, but the clothing must not be tight and see-through, showing the shape of the body. In addition, when dealing with the opposite gender, lowering the gaze and controlling the attitude are essential and crucial. The voice should not be appealing or seductive in any way. accessories to attract people is forbidden in Islam. Tabarruj or wearing excessive

Therefore, an awareness campaign is going to be organized mainly to create awareness about the aurah and dignity as a Muslimah among the residents of Mahallah Zainab Jahsy. The theme Aurah and Dignity has been chosen in a way to inculcate the spirit of being pure and dignified individuals. This programme will be held from 10 September 2012 until 13 September 2012 at Mahallah Zainab Jahsy. Thus, as to make all the residents aware of the campaign, few activities have been planned such as talks on aurah, quizzes, sermon corner and poster competition. Last but not least, it is really hoped that, this programme will run smoothly according to the plan and the objectives will be achieved successfully, insyaAllah.

OBJECTIVES Among the objectives of the programme are: a) To expose students on the importance of covering the aurah. b) To remind the students to obey and conform to the rules and regulations of Allah. c) To create awareness among the students on the consequences of their offences from the perspective of Islam.
