Puram New Delhi-110023 1 May 2013 Subject: Request for change of teacher Sir I have the honour to submit that I am a student of class XII-B of your esteemed institution. I am writing this letter on behalf of my class. Learning has always been the first priority for us. We opted for computer science as our fifth subject as we got admission in science stream. As our journey of the senior secondary classes began in class XI, we were hopeful that we will be able to do well in the subject, as our seniors told us that it was quite a simple subject. But, it is a matter of great concern for us that we have not been able to do so. This has been probably due to the poor level of teaching, by Mr. K.P.Meena. , who seems to be a very well educated person, but, he is not a good teacher. Computer science is a subject which requires a very good teacher because of its highly technical nature. The subject cannot be understood unless we have a good teacher to make the concepts clear to the roots. Our present teacher has been unable to do so, and I am sure that none of the students know how to write a program on their own. The teacher has never taught us computer programming in a good way. It is very disgraceful that he just asks the students to copy from the book, or dictates the same text from book. Unnecessary talks, annoyed students and unclear concepts have been a common sight in our computer science classes for the last 10 months, and every effort to convince ourselves about his teaching has been in vain. We have not been able to even predict the output of programs, let alone writing a computer program! This is a very pathetic state for us. Our seniors who were taught by him had a similar situation but they could not ask you, as we are unable gather the courage to disclose our identity while informing you regarding this issue due to the fear of effect it may have on our career. Still, you can ask the students (preferably the Monitor) in order to check the legitimacy of this letter. We request you to keep this letter confidential because of the reason cited above. We face the challenge of scoring a good percentage this year, and if one of the pillars of our success castle is weak, then we cannot accomplish the challenge. You are requested to change the teacher, and assign Mrs.Amandeep Kaur with the task of teaching us computer science . Most of the students have faith in her teaching.
