CHAPTER III METHODOLOGY In this part, the writer would like to explain about the research method that

contain of Type of Research, Place and Time Research, Procedure, Data Analysis Method, Data Collecting Method. 3.1 Type of Research Type of research that used this time is experiment method and obserrvation, by make a liquid of then coloring and apply the different to the cake 3.2 Place and Time Research The research do in writers home. The experiment was do 8th of May 2013. 3.3. Procedure 1. Tools In this experiment the writer use the tools 1. 6 glasses 2. Knife 3. Spoon 4. Blender 5. Pan

2. Materials In this experiment the writer use the materials 1. Curcuma 2. Chilli 3. Pandan 4. The synthetic food green coloring 5. The synthetic food red coloring

6. The synthetic food yellow coloring 7. Water 8. Eggs 9. Sugar 10. Flour 11. Vanilla 12. Strawberry 13. Baking soda

3. Steps of the research Before to the different color of cake,we will make a bolu kukus. and the steps: Step 1: Prepare the molds Step 2: Beat eggs, sugar,vanilla until thick and rose ago enter the alternately. Step 3: Give the coloring Step 4: Pour the batter into the molds almost until full Step 5: Cover the pan cook 20 minutes over high heat without opening the lid. Steamed until cook. To see that the cake use natural coloring or synthetic coloring so the writer first make the different of natural and synthetic coloring. The process as follows: Step 1 : Peeled the curcuma then wash cleanly. After that put in the blender and give the water according to the curcuma.Blend and take the blended to the first glass. Step 2 : Cut the chilli then wash cleanly. After that put in blender and give the water and take the blended to the second glass Step 3 : Cut the pandan then wash cleanly. After that boiled Step 4 Fill the fourth glass with green synthetic coloring Step 5 Fill the fifth glass with red synthetic coloring.

Step 6 Fill the sixth glass with green synthetic coloring Step 7 See the color in the cake and see the color is the natural or synthetic coloring 3.4 Data Analysis Method Analysing is done by qualitative analysis. The method do to see the different of coloring in the cake. 3.5 Data Collecting Method Data collecting method that used by writer are observation and literature.

CHAPTER IV RESULT AND DISCUSSION 4.1 Result and Step of Experiment Step 1 : Cut the plastic bottle in the middle. Keep the top / mouth of the bottle.

Step 2 : Mix brown sugar with hot water. Allow to cool and then pour in half of the bottle

Step 3 : Add yeast. No need to stir.

Step 4 : Attach / insert pieces of the upper bottle upside down like a funnel

The result of the experiment. The experiment is working for 1 week. It is the picture of this result.

There are around 10 mosquitoes is catched by a trap. 4.2 Discussions

From the research we can see if the mix of yeast and brown sugar can used to be a trap of mosquitoes. It happens because the mosquitoes like with CO2. And the mix of yeast and brown sugar produce CO2. So it makes mosquitoes to come. But because brown sugar the mosquitoes can exit and make it dies in the trap.
