Intermediate Motor Control Training will cover reversing motor circuits, automatic input devices, basic timer control (on and off delay), different braking methods, reduce voltage starting circuits, power generation and distribution, electronic sensors, and timers and counters. Laser Alignment of Rotating Equipment Training will cover the importance of shaft alignment and details of how to successfully perform a shaft system alignment using laser alignment equipment. Technicians develop familiarity with laser alignment techniques through individual hands-on experience as well as observation of instructor demonstrations. Metrology/CCM This course will provide the theory, technique, and care of the coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and various measuring instruments. The student will apply blueprint reading skills and geometric tolerancing to projects made in the machine shop while applying measuring techniques used with the CMM and basic measuring instruments. The student will be exposed to precision inspection methods as it relates to industrial blueprints, manufactured parts, and the students projects. Pneumatics Training will cover pneumatic power systems, basic pneumatic circuits, principles of pneumatics pressure and flow, and pneumatic speed control circuits. Servo Drives and Motion Training will cover how to set up a servo drive using the Allen Bradley Controllogix Platform with Sercos cabling, learn how to use motion commands and logic to control servo drive functions, and apply new skills to different applications. Welding Training covers a variety of topics including Mig or Tig welding for mild steel, aluminum and stainless steel, safety, material indentification, electrode identification, machine set up, stainless sanitary pipe , stick welding, and time to work on processes most routinely used on the job. Welding Certification Tests Certification testing is available for a variety of welding topics, including: 3/8 Inch Limited Position, 3/8 Inch Unlimited Position, One Inch Limited Position, One Inch Unlimited Position, Pipe Welding Test, and Light Gauge Welding Test.

Manufacturing
AC/DC Training will cover basic electric circuits, electrical measurement, circuit analysis, inductance and capacitance, combination circuits, and transformers. Advanced Machine Concepts Development and machining of a part using the computer assist, menu-driven software systems used for short run jobs in a job shop atmosphere. Operation of controls on CNC machine tools equipped with menu-driven software to produce short run jobs. Advanced Motor Control Training will cover variable frequency AC drives in reference to; speed and torque control, acceleration/deceleration, braking, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and SCR motor control. Allen Bradley PowerFlex Drives Training will cover wiring and drive set up, different input configurations, Programming using the HIM module and Drive Executive Software, and using different communication tools for uploading and downloading like ControlNet or Ethernet. Bearings Training will cover anti-friction bearing types. There will be hands on labs including different types of shaft/bearing fit and measurement, failure identification, and different installation methods. Training will also cover the ISO standard numbering system for rolling element bearings. Centrifugal Pumps Training will cover the basic principles of centrifugal pump operations and applications, as well as diagnostic techniques and repair procedures. System troubleshooting techniques are presented as well. Technicians observe centrifugal pump systems and diagnose faults in a handon laboratory environment. ControlNet Training will cover how to set up a ControlNet Network from scratch using RSLogix 5000, and RSNetworks for ControlNet. Learn how to effectively get proper firmware revisions and flash cards using Control Flash, how to make a ControlNet cable and test it, and also discuss differences in network and set up various input/output remote modules.

CNC Lathe Programming This course is designed to prepare the student for entry-level skills in programming, setup, and operation of CNC lathes. Programming examples will be covered using canned cycles, linear and circular interpolation, tool nose radius compensation and progress to the utilization of bar feeders and live tooling. Projects will be assigned and completed using Haas CNC Turning Centers. CNC Operations Operation of CNC machine tools, including CNC milling machines, turning centers, and machining centers. Emphasis on safety, start-up, set-up, loading, and efficient operation. HMI Programming Training will cover how to use the Allen Bradley RS View Studio Software. It will also cover how to upload/download programs, runtime files, terminal settings, basic programming, storage methods, and how to set up communications. Hydraulics Training will cover hydraulic power systems, basic hydraulic pressure and flow, principles of hydraulic pressure and flow, hydraulic speed control, and pressure control circuits. Introduction to ControlLogix Programming Training will cover Flashing firmware, module configuration, Programming tasks and tags, creating arrays and user defined data structures, analog, messaging, system status information, and basic programming exercises. Intermediate ControlLogix Programming Training will cover working with produced and consumed tags, basic function block programming, basic structured text programming, motion programming, and DeviceNet. Introduction to Motor Control Training will cover introduction to electric motor control, manual motor control and overload protection, control transformers, control ladder logic, control relays and motor starters, introduction to troubleshooting, and system troubleshooting.
