Summary In the article Sibling composition and child educational attainment: Evidence from native Amozonians in Bolivia by W.

Zeng et al (2013), the author has estimate the association between sibling composition and child educational attainment by using cross- sectional data study on Tsimane . Author finds this topic is important because most of the studies conducted by researchers mainly focuses on child educational attainment among child lives in cities but for better predictions of human capital theory this study should involves child comes from rural areas and poor nation. The author has used an annual panel study survey among all Tsimane in the year 2007 as the main data for this study. Also, he has test some possible variables and gives the result in descriptive statistics. (num 4) As conclusion, having older siblings, particularly having old brothers, is associated with impairment of younger siblings, and that an additional older sibling is associated with 0.2 fewer years of completed schooling by a younger sibling.

United States has feat mass education by creating various virtues. (why important/ interesting) The author has use graph statistics to collect datas for the research. Figure 1 has explain connection between real per- capita income and the rate of high- school enrollment in 1990. Meanwhile, figure 2 has shows the graduation and enrollment rates in U.S from 1890 to 1970. Figure 3 has describe the secondary- school enrollment rates in 1955. He conclude that United states has reached and develop for the 21st century the human- capital century by arising new set of virtues which will focus on education performance and student achievement.
