About St. Aloysius College


St. Aloysius College (Autonomous), Jabalpur is a premier educational Institute in Madhya Pradesh. It has been Reaccredited 'A' by NAAC (CGPA-3.50/4.00) and has also been awarded CPE status by UGC. The college was established in 1951 by the Catholic Diocese of Jabalpur and is administered by St. Aloysius College Society. The College was granted Autonomy in 2007-08. The College strives to achieve academic excellence and excellence in character formation. The Department of Education was established in 2004 with a vision to produce dynamic, efficient teachers who will be able to transform society and lead the nation to progress. The department believes in a pragmatic approach to life. Its total effort is to provide skills to transform learners into global citizens and bring about a positive social change.

India has opened a new avenue for availability of education to all by making Right to Education (RTE) Act, but the implementation of this Act is a challenge. Accepting the challenge means we have to think of opportunities in terms of Right to Education (RTE).

Special Features of the Conference


y Technical Sessions in Dialogue mode : Research papers and articles will be presented in dialogue mode. Special Dialogue Session: Educational Administrators, NGOs and Social Workers will share their experiences. Panel Discussion: Eminent Academicians of different universities will discuss the core theme of the conference.

Jabalpur is known after the great Saint Jabali. Besides its natural grandeur, Jabalpur is the land of many world renowned sages like Maharishi Mahesh Yogi & Acharya Rajneesh (Osho). Jabalpur has become a prominent centre of education and cultural development which made the great Saint Vinoba Bhave name Jabalpur as Sanskardhani. It is also famous all over the world for its beautiful Marble Rocks & Dhuandhar water fall. Bandhavvgarh National Park, Tiger Reserve, Kanha National Park, Khajuraho and Pachmari are located in the vicinity of the city. Jabalpur is well connected by train, bus and air services and the College is situated at a distance of 1.5 kms from the Railway Station, 12 kms from the Airport and 4kms from the local bus stand.

The article should be typed in Times New Roman font size 12 in English and Kruti Dev 010 font size 14 in Hindi. Further, it may have setting of double space on A4 paper having margins of 1.5 on left side and 1on other three sides. Paper is to be submitted in hard copy and soft copy (C.D.) in MS Word 2007 personally, by post or through Email. It is planned to bring out an Edited Book with ISBN Number. Consequently, acceptance of research papers depends on the quality of the papers and evaluation made by the editorial board. The book will be given only to those authors who will attend the two day conference and present their paper.

Call for papers y Research papers are invited both empirical and theoretical on the given themes from research scholars, academicians and social workers. y The paper submitted will be subjected to review, with reference to appropriateness of the title, objectives and methodology; citation and reference. y The length of the paper may be limited to 2000 - 3000 words. Charts and diagrams must be inserted in the text of the article. There must be an abstract of 200300 words giving the summary of the proposed study.
