1.0 PURPOSE The purpose of this Procedure is to define the items that must be inspected and tested during the construction and to set the Hold Points or Witness Points for certain inspection items including required examination and test, so as to ensure that the entire construction quality complies with the requirements of the contract and project specifications. 2.0 SCOPE The examination and testing items must comply with the requirements of relevant drawings, specifications and statutory codes. This inspection and test items listed in the appendixes are the most basic requirements. 3.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION Project: Kimanis 275/33kV Consumer Main Intake Main Contractor: ABB Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. 4.0 ACTIVITIES 4.1 Before starting the work, the Project Manager shall assign the Supervisor to compile the relevant document and shall submit to the Client for review, if required. 4.2 The Contractor shall prepare the inspection and test plan, using specific forms to set all hold points/witness points according to the contractual requirements, project specifications and statutory codes.

4.3 QC manager and the Site Supervisor shall review the proposed inspection and test plans and compile the relevant inspection and test items to form a complete set of Inspection and Test Plan. It should be submitted for approval.

4.4 The approved Inspection and Test Plan shall be handed over to the responsible appointed QC Manager.
