TAMS ThumbMRI for Android project Overview:

Developed an Android application to run on Android phones, tablets and other devices. Application loads RSS feeds from SharePoint server that gathers MRI photographic images from medical equipment into SharePoint lists. Application then reads the RSS XML and displays the images for different categories on screen with an intuitive user interface using image galleries and list view for navigation allowing for user to swipe to next and previous images. GREAT was developed with the latest .NET technology using VB.NET, Web Services, SOAP, XML, MDAC, ADO.NET, Assemblies and the development environment in Visual Studio.NET. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 is used at the backend as the relational database. Some of the work related to the web was done in ASP.NET. Worked as a Technical Project Manager, supervising timelines and resource usage along with designing application architecture. Managed a team of 25+ resources. Responsibilities also included communication with the client, requirement gathering, system analysis, system design, architecture design and business flow design. Visited client for deploying prototypes of the system, train people and acquired domain knowledge rapidly to correctly assist the development team in the right direction. The system manages the patients demographics, appointments; check-ins, charges, payments and relations to different plans offered by various Insured parties. The site features an extensive reporting engine permitting the printing of different profiles and claims. Fully customizable solution also allows the transfer of Patient charges through the ease of EDI.

Technologies: The site was developed using Active Server Pages 3.0, Visual Basic 6.0, COM/DCOM Components, Microsoft SQL server 7.0, Microsoft Transaction Server 4.0, Internet Information Server 4.0, JavaScript, VBScript, WAP 1.1, Microsoft Visual Embedded Tools (EVB) and various 3rd party tools.
