High tuition cost

General Purpose: The United States should face the high tuition cost problem. Specific Purpose: Student loan is not an effectively way to solve this problem, government should more put more fund in education. Central Idea: Government needs to do something for us, but we also need to treasure the study opportunity that we have.(U.S. has many good universities) Trying to provide a best life to our next generation.

(When you pay for your tuition in every new quarter, will you nervous or feel bad, because of the high tuition cost?) II. Information A. Sharing my own experience (I pay $3000-4000 in every quarter, which means that is high tuition.) B. Providing the data from New York Times and winning the audience trust.

(Stanford University in 1980, it was $6,285. Thirty years later, Stanfords tuition had risen to $38,700. Tuition in 2011-12 is $40,050.)

(Transition: Let discuss why colleges tuition is so high? Does it worth it? How do we solve this problem? And, I would like to share some of my personal opinion.)

A. The several reasons for the dramatic rise in tuition. (Providing better student residences, cutting-edge laboratories, IT improvements, or ext.)

A. Government

(President Obama puts colleges and universities on notice and suggest student load the money.)

B. Student load the money (it is not a effectively way to solve the high tuition problem.) (Student - Kyle Laffin, asked his dad to co-sign a $100,000+ private student loan)

Solve the problem

A. Increase tax (Supporting out government to use more money in education.)

B. Government needs to do something (Germany, Sweden, Finland government offer free tuition for students.)

(Transition: On the other hand, I use my personal opinion to jump into conclusion.)

Conclusion I. Encourage (my personal opinion) A. We cant really change the situation (high tuition) because we dont have enough power. Also, it is true that university is more develop than past. The only thing that we can do is trying to treasure our education. Providing the best to the next generation.
