AcroYoga is a very special blend of Yoga, Thai Massage and

Acrobatics. We can only learn this wonderfull practice by fully
experiencing it.
YOGA
Yoga meaning in Sanskrit is Union. It brings together Body & Mind,
Individual Soul & Universal Soul, Male & Female, Sun Energy & Moon
Energy, etc.
Japanese Yoga is Zen, Tibetan Yoga is Buddhism Vajrayana, and Chinese
Yoga is Tao or Taoist Yoga. These practices have many similarities with
Hindu Yoga, developed more than 6,000 years ago in India.

Yoga trains us to become “Soul Therapists”

with a peaceful mind
loving and open heart
joyful and happy body
with readiness to raise and expand
the loving vibration of this planet

The essential target of Yoga

is to convert us in Messengers of Love
THAI YOGA MASSAGE

Thai Massage “nuat phaen boran” was born in India 2500 years ago. This
ancient art of massage was brought to Thailand by Doctor Shivago, Jivaka
Kumar Baccha, contemporary and personal friend of Buddha himself.
This sacred dance healing form is a motion meditation. It promotes
unconditional presence, conscious breathing, flowing through movement,
total surrender, complete union within yourself, with the person you are
working with and with the divine.

“Feel the presence of their breath and of yours

feel the weight of their body and of yours
acknowledge the beauty of the soul
unify all and move and dance
Ever in ease
with no judgments
for the good of all our brothers and sisters”
Dayalu
ACROBATICS

The history of Acrobatics goes back to the very beginning of human time,
when the first man and woman experienced joy in movement jumping for
fun from rock to rock or branch to branch. Our acrobatic nature is
prehistoric but the word AKROBAT appeared in Ancient Greece.

akros = high
bat = to walk
AKROBAT = high walker

‘The best acrobat is the one who can…

make the difficult look easy,
And have fun doing it’

THE 5 ELEMENTS OF ACROYOGA

Circle Ceremony
The circle initiates the ceremonious joining of our yoga
community with a flow of integrated movements . Here we
es tablish connection with those around us and c ultivate our
openness to the divine. The circle c eremony sets the tone
and theme for our journey together.

Asana Warm Up
Asana warms the body and grounds us individually in
preparation for partner work. A mirrored partner as ana flow
helps to develop c oncentration, foc us, and flexibility. T his is
an opportunity to look outs ide ourselves and open our
awareness to the common experience.

Partner Acrobatics
Partner Acrobatics is the mos t dynamic expression of this work.
G reater levels of risk amplify the need for heightened trust,
concentration and presence. A fter developing our base of partner
skills , we are ready to rise to the c hallenge of group formations
and pyramids .

Flying
Flying flows can range from gentle, massage- based
stretches to more dynamic balancing or acrobatic
sequences . T herapeutic flying utilizes gravity to
release and open the flyers' spine while grounding
and empowering the base. T his is the nectar of
AcroYoga, aka Anti-G ravitational Spinal Elongation.
The gentle kindness of Metta can be transmitted
from the base to the flyer.

Thai Yoga Massage

O nce the flyer lands the role of giver and receiver
shift. The flyer can give back to the base the metta
that was offered during the flying. It c ultivates the
healing capacity of the giver and uses passive yoga
stretches to open energy lines in the receiver. It is a
time to honor and express gratitude to our partners .
