1. Before installing TDFA

If another version of TDFA V3.1.2 is already installed on the system, it is recommended to rename the folder C:\Tdfa to C:\Tdfa_save for instance. If WinCron is already present on the PC, the TDFA installation program detects it and the configuration of this program will not be changed. If AT is used, the task schedule defined in C:\Tdfa_save\Appli\stcron1.bat could be reused by copying it into the new tdfa installation. Download the TDFA 3.1.2 package matching your platform and country on: http://rigel.dcs.renault.fr:8080/tdf/FullInternet/V3.1 The JRE 1.6 is embedded in the package. There no more dependencies between the JRE installed on your system and TDFA.

2. Decompression of the package

Double-click on TDFA_V3.1.2_XXbits_YYYY.exe (where XX corresponds to the 32 or 64 bits system and YYYY corresponds to the country), and the following window appears:

The passwords of the TDFA-certificates are saved in an encrypted file on your Hard Disk. This is encryption is necessary to protect you against possible attacks. Therefore you have to initialize the password-file for each instance of TDFA that is used on your PC. This initialization is done automatically by the script InitPassword.bat (which is also called by the scripts UpdateToV3.bat or Setup.bat ). During the execution of this script: If you dont have copied the technical certificate downloaded from https://dcs.renault.com/rnz_pki/home.html in C:\Tdfa\cert and if you already have a technical certificate on your server, the InitPassword.bat script offers you to import it:
