Compressor Oils
AC Series Air Compressor Oils: These air compressor oils are especially formulated to reduce carbon and varnish buildup. These oils contain fluid zinc to effectively fight friction and wear thus reducing heat and foaming. Available in six ISO grades for a variety of applications and temperatures. SYNAC Series Synthetic Air Compressor Fluids: These diester-based synthetic air compressor fluids are outstanding for applications in which the fluid is subjected to high temperature and high stress conditions over extended drain intervals. Lubriplate SYN LUBE Multi-Purpose Fluids: These polyalphaolefin(PAO) based, zinc-free fluids are recommended for many types of hydraulic systems and rotary crew and piston type air compressors. Formulated with state of the art additives, these fluids provide outstanding performance over extended drain intervals. They are also excellent for high temperature bearing, chain and turbine oil applications. Available in ISO Viscosity grades 32, 46, 68 & 100. LUBRIPLATE Syncool Fluids consist of premium synthetic polyglycolester base stocks, targeted for high performance in rotary screw and rotary vane air compressors where high operating temperatures are present. Typically, compressors with discharge air temperatures ranging from 210F to 240F are candidates for LUBRIPLATE Syncool Fluids. These fluids are formulated with state of the art additives to enhance the already inherent outstanding performance characteristics of the base fluids. LUBRIPLATE Syncool Fluids are available in two (2) ISO Viscosity Grades (ISO VG 32 & ISO VG 46). In addition to air compressors, these fluids are excellent chain lubricants and high temperature bearing lubricants. *LUBRIPLATE Syncool 32 is a direct replacement for Sullair Sullube 32 and Palatek Pallube 32 *LUBRIPLATE Syncool 46 is a direct replacement for Ingersoll Rand SSR Ultra Coolant Lubriplate Vacuum Pump Oils are high performance, non-detergent mineral oils. They possess exceptional flash and fire points, as well as high V.I.'s (Viscosity Index). Vacuum Pump Oil is recommended for most rotary vane and rotary lobe vacuum pumps. It is designed to alleviate the sludge, carbon deposit and contamination problems commonly found in industrial vacuum pumps. Vacuum Pump Oil Light is recommended for rotary vane vacuum pumps typically associated with delicate instrumentation. These vacuum pumps generally have a drip oiler involved. The use of this oil will provide for optimum lubrication without the formation of carbon deposits. LUBRIPLATE Refrigeration Compressor Oil 68-P

is a highly refined, wax-free, semi-synthetic lubricant formulated for use in refrigeration compressor systems utilizing ammonia. It contains additives for oxidation inhibition, corrosion protection, pour point depression and defoaming. LUBRIPLATE Refrigeration Compressor Oil 68-P is recommended for CFC (chlorofluorocarbon) and HCFC (hydro chlorofluorocarbon) refrigerants such as R717, R-11, R-12, R-13, R-113, R-114, R-115, R-22, R-123, R-141b, R-500, R-501 and R-502. It is not recommended for use with HFC (hydroflurocarbon) refrigerants such as HFC-134a. HFC's are more commonly recognized as freons. Refrigeration Compressor Oil 68-N is a highly refined napthenic oil formulated for use in refrigeration compressor systems utilizing ammonia, CFC (chlorofluorocarbon) and HCFC (hydrochlorofluorocarbon) refrigerants such as R-717, R-12, R-13, R-113, R-114, R-115, R-22, R-123, R-141b, R-142b, R-500, R-501, R-502. Lubriplate Refrigeration Compressor Oil is essentially wax-free as shown by its low pour point and floc temperature. It will not "wax-out" under low temperature conditions typically encountered in most systems. Equipment lines, evaporator, expansion valve and refrigerant control devices stay clean allowing for maximum system efficiency. Lubriplate Refrigeration Compressor Oil is also chemically and thermally stable which minimizes the formation of harmful varnish, gum and sludge deposits. Lubriplate Refrigeration Compressor Oil is not recommended for use with HFC (hydrofluorocarbon) refrigerants such as HFC-134a (R-134a). Distinctions between the different types are not always observed in technical literature. CFC, HCFC, or HFC are sometimes referred to as CFC or Freon in reference to all three molecular types. Therefore an investigation as to which refrigerant is being used is necessary. Lubriplate Refrigeration Compressor Oil carries OEM approvals by Carrier and Trane for use in their refrigeration compressors. Lubriplate Refrigeration Compressor Oil can only be used in refrigeration compressors that require an ISO viscosity grade 68 and are only using ammonia, CFC or HCFC refrigerants. Do not recommend Lubriplate Refrigeration Compressor Oil for use in refrigeration compressors that require an ISO viscosity grade other than ISO 68 and where HFC refrigerants are used. A listing of common refrigerants is provided in the table below. This table is color coded for ease in determining what refrigerants are compatible with Lubriplate Refrigeration Compressor Oil. Green is acceptable for use and Red is not acceptable for use.
