Methodist Centennial Chefoo Centre The Chefoo Centre as it is commonly known was closed for almost 9 months for it to undergo a massive facelift to offer better facilities and comfort to campers and for those in pursuit of retreat in the hills. The fully renovated and refurbished Methodist Centennial Chefoo Centre was opened mid-November 2009. A popular choice for Christians in Malaysia and Singapore, the 210-bedded resort is located 1,542 meters above sea level and enjoys cool climate with temperature no higher than 20C and rarely falling below 10C. Cameron Highlands is home to Malaysias tea, vegetable and flower growing industry. The Chefoo Centre is sited on six acres of land amidst surrounding hills and greenery forest with complete privacy of its own, just outside Brinchang town and 5 km from Tanah Rata. CAPACITY - 210 beds ACCOMMODATION Rooms of dual, triple and quad occupants are available. As well as dorm of 6 to 12 occupants are available. FACILITIES Assembly Hall, Conference Hall, Small Meeting Rooms, Library, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court, Futsal Court and Tennis Court. Effective November 1, 2009 our rates are as follows:

Payments are to be made by crossed cheque and written payable to AEC of the Methodist Church in Malaysia or be made directly into our Bank Account with Public Bank No. 3110028511 in the name of AEC of the Methodist Church in Malaysia. Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of 50% deposit of the total accommodation cost. All youth groups must be accompanied by adult counselors. No mixed sexes should share a room unless in family units. All activities in the centre should end before midnight. The management shall not be held liable or responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings, nor will it be held responsible for any injury or mishap or death of persons occurring with the premise of the centre while in occupancy. House Rules

Christians & church-related organizations as a place for retreat, programs, organized meetings, study rest & recreation. Thus these set of house rules are in place to help the place in a good state for the benefit of all users and the management. Regular check-in time is after 2 pm. And checkout time is 12 noon. The management reserves the right to allocate rooms or beds for accommodation. The management reserves the right to disallow the use of the centre to any group, body, organization or individual. Catering is available to any group size above 20 people. As this is a ministry property, residents should exercise care in the use of facilities provided. Furniture and other moveable items are not to be moved from one room to another without permission of the Resident Overseer. Gambling, consumption of alcoholic beverages and smoking is strictly prohibited. Special care must be taken where food and drinks are taken into any room for consumption.
