ABSTRAK

Persaingan yang semakin meningkat membuat kalangan dunia usaha terus

meningkatkan daya saingnya, dengan cara perbaikan struktur organisasi dan manajemen,
sumber daya manusia, piranti lunak dan piranti keras dan juga aplikasi di bidang Teknologi
Informasi (TI) dan ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). Bagi para penyedia TI sendiri,
tantangan yang ada adalah bagaimana agar produk/jasa yang disediakan mampu menjadi
solusi kebutuhan pelanggan dan bermutu tinggi. Pelanggan harus merasakan bahwa TI yang
diaplikasikan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan perusahaan dan mampu menyediakan solusi
pelayanan yang sesuai dengan kepentingan bisnis perusahaan.
Penanganan sebuah implementasi TI di suatu perusahaan bukanlah hal yang mudah,
sehingga perlu dibangun sebuah proses pengembangan suatu sistem TI yang berorientasi
kepada pelanggan yang pada akhirnya selain meningkatkan kepuasan kepada pelanggan juga
pada saat yang sama akan tercapai sinergi pencapaian kepentingan bisnis dengan sistem yang
baru, karena dikelola dengan baik, efisien, tepat sasaran sehingga biaya yang dikeluarkan pun
bisa lebih hemat, sehingga sistem TI yang diimplementasikan akan benar-benar meningkatkan
daya saing perusahaan dalam era yang kompetitif saat ini. Artinya proses implementasi ini
juga harus memiliki keseimbangan antara 3 (tiga) faktor yaitu waktu, kualitas, dan biaya.
Proyek Akhir ini fokus pada proses implementasi SAP Business One, yang akan
memiliki risiko yang tinggi jika tidak dikelola dengan baik. Akar permasalahan yang selama
ini terjadi adalah bisnis proses yang diaplikasi kurang disesuaikan dengan best practice
yang ada, tidak ada gap & fit analysis yang jelas, serta tidak mengelola perubahan
disisi manusia, budaya dan organisasi secara sistematis dan terstruktur, sehingga pada
akhirnya menciptakan kegagalan dalam proses implementasi atau terlambatnya waktu untuk
Go Live.
Pengembangan proses bisnis yang diusulkan adalah pengembangan pada tahap
implementasi dimulai dengan Tahap-0 Evaluation/Initiation, Tahap-1 Persiapan Proyek,
Tahap-2 Business Blueprint, Tahap-3 Realization, Tahap-4 Persiapan Go-Live, Tahap-5 Go
Live dan Support serta Tahap-6 Sustain. Semua tahap tersebut harus diintegrasikan dengan
Proses untuk mengelola perubahan (Change Management) dalam hal Stakeholder
Management, Organization Impact Analysis, Training management, Communications and
Performance Management. Implementasi TI ini akan berjalan sukses apabila semua bagian di
dalam organisasi turut serta dan didukung oleh komitmen manajemen. Selain itu agar tujuan
dan target implementasi dapat tercapai maka perlu ditetapkan key performance indicator pada
setiap tahap proses implementasi.

ABSTRACT

In the recent time, business environment become much more competitive. Dealing
with such situation, many companies improve their competitive advantage through
implementing Information Technology and ERP implementation. The opportunity for IT
implementor is how the IT product and service can help company in achieving its business
goals by providing adequate information systems that delivers accurate information in the
right time, from the right process and in cost effective ways.
An IT Implementation is not an easy process, that’s why in the implementation
approach, in developing implementation plan, we need to have a balance of three important
factors: Time, to determines how long we need to complete the project and or when it should
be done, Quality, to determines how good the new system will support the business, what are
the business process and function covered, and Costs, to determines how much money need to
be spent for the project, how many resources can be utilised to support the project
This final project is focus on SAP Business One Implementation Approach. Although
technically we can implement ERP system in one big project for all companies and for all
functions but it would put the project at very high risk. That risk come up when business
process is not suitable with the “best practise way”, no gap & fit and analysis process and
the change in people, process, culture and organization area are not well managed.
Changes in one area may impact the other area as well and this impact can affect to the
process and delays Go Live dates.
Recommendation on bussines process development of SAP Business One will take
several phase, that starts with Phase-0 Evaluation/Initiation, Phase-1 Project Preparation,
Phase-2 Business Blueprint, Phase-3 Realization, Phase-4 Final Preparation, Phase-5 Go-
Live and Support, and finished with Phase-6 Sustain to keep continous improvements process.
All this phase must be integrated with change managemet process in terms of Stakeholder
Management, Organization Impact Analysis, Training Management, Communications and
Performance Management. When a project teams begin to identify the problems or
opportunities and brainstorm possible solution, the change management is also initiated. To
be succeed, the implementation needs the participation from all employees and support by
commitment management, and in order to achieve its objective and targets, every phase of
implementation has a key performance indicator as well.
