The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility is pleased to announce the appointment of Kenan Omurtag, MD, FACOG, as assistant professor.
Kenan Omurtag, MD, FACOG is a native Missourian born and raised in Rolla, MO. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas Citys combined six-year BA/MD program in 2006, recognized as a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha society. He completed residency training in OB/GYN at Emory University Hospital/Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA, where he was selected by peers and faculty as an Administrative Chief Resident. Afterwards, he received advanced subspecialty fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Omurtag is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, board certified in OB/GYN and board eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He has special interest and expertise in operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for fibroids, in vitro fertilization, ovulation induction, endometriosis and male factor infertility. His research interests are focused on male factor infertility and using mobile technology to better share decision making among patients and their healthcare providers. Outside of work, he is a sports enthusiast, and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
