What is the Event all about?
This Event has been designed to provide both a ‘fun day’ and a means of showing the
development of the performance horse under saddle. The logic is that however hard
one concentrates on breeding the best bloodlines, it is the performance of the horse
that matters most.

The Sport Arab and the Trakehner horse are closer than many would think. They are
both bred in ‘closed’ stud books, are true breeds in themselves, but are inter-linked
since the Trakehner stud books have used the very best Arab and Anglo-Arab blood
as well as Thoroughbred for 275 years to enhance the performance of the breed.

The event is set up so that both breeds will benefit, and will compete together and its
overall objective is to improve the training of performance horses.

ANY SURPLUS GENERATED WILL BE

DISTRIBUTED AS HORSE TRAINING BURSARIES

The organisers will discuss with owners the most suitable trainers for the bursaries
and have already made plans with notable trainers in different disciplines.
