JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Document Control and Daily / Weekly / Monthly Progress Reporting & Recording Preparation and Review of Inspection and Test Plans as per Specification and Client requirements. To monitor/ observe that all welding related parameters are within the specified limits as stipulated in WPS during welding operations. Stage wise Inspection as per QC plan of fabrication: like Material Identification, Maintaining Material trace ability, welder Qualification, Dimensional Checks, Fit up/ Tolerance. Ensure that plate/ pipe welding quality, its installation and equipment meet the Project Specifications. Inspects the structure modification for, equipments and associated piping, supports etc., in accordance with company procedures / specifications. Monitor and inspect quality of pipe fabrication and installations, including witness of pressure testing and application of Insulation. Plans and progresses workload of assigned personnel and the follow up of the progress achieved. Monitoring of WPS, PQR and witnessing the Welder Performance Qualification tests. Stage wise Inspection of fit-ups, dimensional, welding as per approved Inspection & Test Plan. Witnessing the NDT methods, PWHT, Pressure testing and Pneumatic tests as per approved procedures. To follow up and maintain the safety systems and regulations at all the time. Witness & Evaluate Destructive Testing [Tensile, Impact, etc] Preparation and Submission of Line-wise records, NDT records, Hardness records etc. for the Hydro test. Witnessing the Pressure test along with the client Inspector.

Care in all welding activities to avoid damage to protect materials and equipments.
