Small description of the match (extra-ordinary incidents etc.): The first matchday of group F in the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2013, played in Bursa at Ataturk Stadiu, in front of an attendance of 3,597. The match was played between the national teams of New Zealand and Uzbekistan. The referee appointed was Antonio Arias from Paraguay, at his second FIFA tournament after U-20 WC 2011. The match in its progress was fair and the referee had a quite easy game to face.

Further observations (peculiarities of the referee revealing his character) The referee adapted his style to a quite fair match, deciding to give YC only in mandatory cases, anyway the choice was still possible because the match was well played by both teams and, at any rate, there werent relevant or particular situations, apart from the tackle which costed the card to UZB player. A good work in a anyway easy-going match, wating for more challenging appointments.
