Also, the teachings in the Tao Te Tsing, by Prophet Lao Tzu, is referenced as "the
tao" meaning "the way".
Man has the freedom to choose whatever he wishes to submit to; to worship, be it
God or his basal-self. And by doing so, choosing the Path upon which he wishes to
tread; choosing the direction he wants to travel; whichever "Way" he deems "best".
However, it seems a worthy reminder, that the Way [/the Path/the direction] that
God seems to be directing us towards has always been the same. That is to submit
to "Him". When man submits to God, "the Way" leads man to God as whatever man
submits to dictates his direction of travel. As God "resides", metaphorically
speaking, beyond this lowest realm, then should man submit to God then he would
eventually, God Willing, transcend this realm. Should he continue to submit to his
lower-basal-self then he will remain attached and anchored to this lower realm -
through his own conscious or subconscious choosing.
As mentioned before, the teachings of God (through his 124,000 Prophets) have
always been the same (albeit there are contextual differences) and this is the
"Way of Submission" [to God]. And the rest of Part 2 will be dedicated to bringing
the reader back to God's original teachings; the True "Way of Submission".
The Unchanging, Unnamed Teachings
This unchanging Message from God was taught to mankind in the past. But as the
Message became forgotten or adulterated and people became lost, it had to be re-
taught, renewed.
"Never comes (anything) to them of a renewed Message from their Lord, but they
listen to it as in jest, - ", Qur'an 21:2
Moses - came with The Message that taught the "children of Israel" the Way to
live in order to submit to Gods Will. He taught them the 10 commandments and "the
Law" which is found in the first 5 books (Torah) of the Old Testament (Tannakh),
but never named it "Judaism". It was later named "Judaism" after the tribe of
Judah, but Moses never named his teachings "Judaism". His teachings were just
teachings of "the Way of Submission" and were never named.
Jesus - came to renew "the Law" as taught by Moses and guide them (the children
of Israel) once more about how to live in "The Way" in order to enter the kingdom
of heaven. He told them the "good news" ("gospel" - to be elaborated upon in a
later chapter, God Willing) of the reward for the believers that followed him in
"his" way, which in reality is The Way [of Submission] i.e. God's Way.
"[Jesus says] 'You know the way that leads to the place where I am going.'
Thomas said to him, 'Lord, we do not know where you are going; so how can we know
the way to get there?' New Testament, John 14:4-5
What Jesus spoke of was "the way" of life (submission to God) in order to get to
"heaven". However, Thomas, felt that "the way" was unclear to them. So, Jesus
clarified:
Jesus answered him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the
Father except by me'." New Testament, John 14:6
"I am the way,..." - by following him and his teachings, one would submit to God.
Therefore they would walk the same path that he did; journey the same "way" that
he did as he embodied "the truth" - hence "I am the way, the truth...". And as
Jesus had already transcended this lower realm to achieve eternal life, by
submitting to God, not only was he "the way" and "the truth", he was also "...the
life". As we are told in the Old Testament that:
Jesus clarified his comment about being "the way, the truth and the life" saying:
"If not, believe because of the things I do. I am telling you the truth: those
who believe in me will do what I do.", New Testament, John 14:10-12
And at that point in time, Jesus was the "Guiding Light" in the darkness of the
lowest realm. All other "Lights" [of guidance i.e. his disciples and other
teachers of "the Way"] were either stemming from him (like a pebble being thrown
in a still pond) or would lead to him. Which is why he said, "no one goes to the
Father except by me".
HOWEVER, it should be fully understood that when Jesus said these words, it was
contextual. Because at that time he was the brightest guiding light, the truest
reflection of God's Will on earth. However, once he left i.e. the physical
representative of God in this world, God did not (and does not) leave us without a
guiding light that would take its followers to "Him". As soon as another physical
representative took on the role of "The Guiding Light", Jesus' comment of "no one
goes to the Father except by me" became redundant.
But, let me return to the topic at hand as i have digressed somewhat. Apart from
the above understanding, the point here is that when Jesus came, he never said he
came to bring "Christianity". He just renewed the same UN-named teachings brought
by Moses; the same teachings that would lead to submission to God. Once again
"Christianity" and its' new innovative 'Paulian'-concepts were later introduced by
the deceiver, Paul.
"Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul [Paul's pre-'conversion' name].
When he found him, he took him to Antioch, and for a whole year the two met with
the people of the church and taught a large group. It was at Antioch that the
believers were first called Christians." N.T. Acts 11:25-26
Prior to this new term, "Christian", most were known as "followers of the Way".
The new teachings of Paul subsequently replaced "The Way" [of Submission to God],
creating a deviant "way" (or path) that would lead its followers away from God. As
we have seen in the previous chapter.
"We have without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it
(from corruption)", Qur'an 15:9
As was mentioned before, there was and will always be this "Guiding Light" to take
us back to God. If the connection were ever missing, then all those residing in
this manifest world/lowest realm would be lost. And at that point, mankind's test
would become redundant as man would be able to argue with God on the Day of
Judgement and say, "how could we return to You when You did not give us sufficient
guidance". So, God will not leave us without the "Guiding Light".
The Holy Spirit in essence is "the Guiding Light" which is being mentioned above.
It is the Light that will guide us to God. It is "the Straight Path"; It is "the
bridge" that crosses over the gap that lies between the lowest realm and God.
However, in this physical realm, the Holy Spirit needs a vehicle to work through,
in order for it to fulfil its' role of Guiding mankind (and other 'kinds') to God.
The Holy Spirit cannot appear/manifest in the physical realm without a physical
vessel or at least have a vehicle to work through.
And we can see that indeed the Holy Spirit has always been with us, via all the
prophets and messengers of the past:
- "Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you [Saul], and you will prophesy
with them and be turned into another man." O.T. 1 Samuel 10:10
- "For he (John the Baptist) shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall
drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost,
even from his mother's womb." O.T. Isaiah 63:11
- "And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the
babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost", N.T. Luke
1:35
- "For no prophetic message ever came just from human will, but people were under
control of the Holy Spirit as they spoke the message that came from God." 2 Peter
1:21
So, in fact, all this time it has been God that has been guiding us through
another one of His "creations", the Holy Spirit. Please note, that the Holy Spirit
belongs to God and does not form a part of God in a "trinity" i.e. God does not
need the Holy Spirit to be One. The Holy Spirit is FROM God, much like His
creation (mankind and all we see) is FROM God. People are just vessels for the
Holy Spirit to use to guide us back to God.
Prophet David explains this in the Psalms that God does His own work, but through
man:
"You [God] have made him [man] to have dominion over the works of
Your Hands", O.T. Psalms 8:6
This clearly states that anyone who denies that Jesus is just a human does not
have the Spirit from God in them. And if you do not have the Spirit of God in you
then you only have ego of the self. So, anyone who claims that Jesus is some sort
of God-like figure, be it "Son of God" or part of God as a Trinity (i.e. God
having 3 parts to Him) or any deity is clearly speaking from their own ego and is
not Truth from God.
Jesus was just another vessel for which the Holy Spirit could do its' work in
guiding mankind back to God (like the other aforementioned vessels). Even Jesus
tells us that he himself was commanded by God.
"But the Father who has sent me has commanded me what I must say and speak. And
I know that His command brings eternal life. What I say, then, is what the Father
has told me to say." N.T. John 12:49-50
If he was supposedly God or the Son of God or whatever god-like figure the people
have made him into, then he would not have needed to be commanded anything. He
would have had complete authority to say whatever he wanted to. Unfortunately,
nowadays, people will mistake Jesus' given "authority" as being an implication of
his "god-hood" or "son-of-god" status. They have not realised that in fact, Jesus
was just another vessel, and the authority bestowed upon him was not his, but
God's. Much like I would give authority to a nanny to look after my child, but
this certainly does not mean the nanny and I are one and the same, nor does it
take the 2 of us together to be a whole i.e. both of us make a "twin-ity". Nor
does it mean that authority bestowed upon the nanny from myself is permanent. The
teachings the nanny gives still come from me and the nanny will look after my
child as I direct her (or him) to.
" 'The words that I have spoken to you,' Jesus said to his disciples, 'do not come
from me. The Father, who remains in me, does his own work.'" N.T. John 14:10
And Jesus reminds us once again, that he should not be the object of focus:
"And the teaching you have heard is not mine, but comes from The Father, who sent
me." N.T. John 14:24
So we should NOT make the age-old mistake of idolatry and make Jesus an object of
worship for God has NO son. Only God can fulfil your prayers and indeed Jesus
taught us to pray to "The Father", and NOT to himself in "the Lords Prayer".
For those that continue to erroneously believe Jesus is God's son, when Jesus
himself always calls himself "son of man", they are doing themselves an injustice
and have obviously not understood. Even David has been labelled as "son of God" in
the Psalms.
In the bible this psalm is incorrectly referenced to Jesus as being the "Son".
However, no where else in the psalms is there any mention of prophesies of Jesus,
but there is lots about himself (David) and his prayers. When we look further in
to the "Psalms of David" we can clearly make out that the above in fact is about
him and not Jesus. The above talks about the nations for his inheritance. Which
nations did Jesus inherit exactly? However, the Psalms DOES show us the
following:
Also, when reading a little further, we see that David, too was anointed as King
and also "begotten" so-to-speak by God:
However, the point here is not to prove the bible's interpretation of the Psalms
wrong, it is to show that someone other than Jesus is referenced as God's "son".
And more to the point, this does NOT mean what people think. Even King Herod is
referred to as "son of God". These words are a Judaic way of saying that someone
is of a Kingly line and does not take the literal meaning.
For those who are astute, this also means that the concept of Paul's Trinity is
blown out of the water. "The son", as one part of the trinity, now has to be
plural to include David and Herod. Basically, what needs to be redefined is the
fundamental understanding of the relationship between God, Jesus and the Holy
Spirit as Paul has managed to skew the understanding behind this. But hopefully,
this will be clearing up slowly.
Anyway, we can pretty much establish from the above that the Holy Spirit worked
through all prophets and messengers (including Jesus) to teach mankind the Truth,
to guide them back to God. The Holy Spirit is "the Guiding Light", and it is
embodied by God's chosen pious people (or His "children" so-to-speak).
"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall
conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel." Old Testament, Isaiah
7:14
...or when John the Baptist told the people of Jesus' coming:
"So John said to all of them, 'I baptise you with water, but someone is coming
who is much greater than I am. I am not good enough even to untie his sandals. He
will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and fire.'", N.T. Luke 3:16
So too did Jesus foretell of the coming of the one who was to follow him:
"But I tell you the truth, It is better for you that I should go away; for if I do
not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I should go, I will send
him to you. And when he comes, he will rebuke the world concerning sin, concerning
righteousness, and concerning Judgment. Concerning sin, because they do not
believe in me; Concerning righteousness, because I go to my Father, and you will
not see me again; Concerning judgment, because the leader of this world has been
judged. Again, I have many other things to tell you, but you cannot grasp them
now. But when the Spirit of Truth has come, he will guide you into all the Truth:
for he will not speak from himself, but what he hears, that he will speak: and he
will make known to you things which are to come in the future. He will glorify me;
because he will take of my own and show to you. Everything that my Father has is
mine; this is the reason why I told you that he will take of my own and show to
you." N.T. John 16:7-13
As Jesus mentions above, "the Spirit of Truth" will come and guide man into ALL
the Truth. This "Spirit of Truth" as mentioned above plays the role of The Guiding
Light that will lead mankind into submission to God and lead mankind out of the
lowest realm of darkness and into the light.
Jesus also tells us in the passage above that "the Comforter" (or "the Councillor"
or "the Helper" or "the Paraclete" in other bibles), which Christians claim is the
Holy Spirit, will not come if he does not go away i.e. implying that whilst Jesus
remains "the Comforter" can NOT be present.
So then, how can anyone so confidently claim that "the Comforter" or "the Spirit
[of Truth]" is purely the Holy Spirit Because, if "the Comforter" is the Holy
Spirit and Jesus cannot be there whilst "the Holy Spirit" is there. Then what on
earth happened at Jesus' baptism by John?
"As soon as Jesus was baptized, he came up out of the water. Then heaven was
opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God coming down like a dove and alighting
on him.", N.T. Matthew 3:16
And then what was it that guided Jesus into the desert so that he could be tested?
"Then the Spirit led Jesus into the desert to be tempted by the Devil." N.T.
Matthew 4:1
And as we saw in the section titled "Holy Spirit" above, the Holy Spirit has
always been with us, within ALL the past Prophets/Messengers and therefore, of
course, Jesus also. And if we have understood the role of the Holy Spirit, then we
know that the Holy Spirit was utilising Jesus to guide mankind and therefore must
have already been present at the time that he foretold of "Another Helper". The
two verses above should help to confirm this.
So, CLEARLY, the Christian belief that "the Comforter" or "the Spirit [of Truth]"
that Jesus would send AFTER he left could NOT be the Holy Spirit. As the Holy
Spirit was already with Jesus. Any one who makes such erroneous claims is, without
doubt, lacking some fundamental understanding with regards to the role of the Holy
Spirit or what the Holy Spirit actually is.
So now that we have fully established what "the Comforter" or "the Spirit [of
Truth]" is NOT. Let us identify what or who "the Comforter" actually is, that
Jesus was referring to. Who is this personality being referred to as "the
Comforter" that would embody role of "the Guiding Light" or "the Spirit of Truth"?
Who was the vessel for the Holy Spirit to work through?
"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, who will stay with
you for ever. He is the Spirit who reveals the truth about God." N.T. John 14:16-
17
So, bearing in mind ALL the above. We are now at a stage where we know that the
Holy Spirit will always be around to guide mankind, we just are not sure within
whom it shall be. And Jesus makes it clear above that indeed, he himself was just
a Helper to guide mankind, as he said that God would send ANOTHER Helper. This
confirms that he himself was just a Helper too.
"You say that I am king. I was born and came into the world for this ONE PURPOSE,
to speak about the truth." N.T. John 18:37
Notice, Jesus doesn't say he came "to die for our sins". Notice Jesus says he came
ONLY "to speak about Truth", as this is the role of the Holy Spirit, the "Guiding
Light". That is what the Holy Spirit did through Jesus, that is what it did
through all the Prophets. And that is what it would do through "the Comforter".
So, could Muhammad be "the Spirit of Truth", the next "Helper", "the Comforter"?
Let us double check to ensure that Muhammad, actually fits into the rest of Jesus'
depictions about "the Comforter".
"I have told you this while I am still with you. The Helper, the Holy Spirit
[within the Helper], who the Father will send in my name, will teach you
everything and make you remember all that I have told you." N.T. John 14:25-26
Therefore we should be looking to make sure that Muhammad's teachings are the same
as Jesus [and Moses and all past prophets]. We would expect this as the Holy
Spirit is just utilising another vessel for teaching the Truth.
It would seem that Muhammad did in fact confirm ALL teachings before him,
including Jesus'.
"The same Religion He has established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah -
that which We have sent by inspiration to you - and that which We enjoined on
Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: namely, that you should remain steadfast in Religion,
and make no divisions therein", Qur'an 42:13
Also, from chapter 3, we have already shown that Muhammad does teach the same laws
as Moses. So this does bode well for Muhammad being another vessel for the Holy
Spirit and thus a true Messenger from God.
Secondly, Jesus tells us that when "the Comforter" comes, he will not speak of his
own authority, but will speak of what he hears. Much like Jesus himself:
"And the teaching you have heard is not mine, but comes from The Father, who sent
me." N.T. John 14:24
It is quite well known to Muslims that Muhammad spoke of what was told to him by
Archangel Gabriel (or via a direct revelation from God).
Thirdly, we know from above that the Holy Spirit works through all the Prophets
and Messengers. Seeing as Muhammad was the Final Prophet and a Messenger to all
mankind, we would certainly expect to see the Holy Spirit working through him.
This is confirmed by the Qur'an:
"Say, the Holy Spirit has brought the revelation from your Lord in Truth, in order
to strengthen those who believe, and as a Guide and Glad Tidings to Muslims",
Qur'an 16:102.
Also below we will see that the Spirit has descended upon Muhammad (much like it
descended upon Jesus during his baptism) and also that the Holy Spirit is
confirming the "scriptures of the ancients" through the mouth of Muhammad:
The point is Muhammad fulfils ALL that Jesus said that "the Comforter" would do.
But let us investigate some more points so that it will settle the heart of the
sceptics...
Jesus says that the one who follows will speak of him:
"I will send him to you from The Father, and he will speak about me." N.T. John
16:26
Jesus or 'Isa, as he is known in the Qur'an, is the most spoken about Prophet in
the Qur'an. A small example:
"And Allah will teach him [Jesus] the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel,
And appoint him a Messenger to the Children of Israel, (with the message): 'I
[Jesus] have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out
of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a
bird by Allah's leave: and I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken
the dead, by Allah's leave; and I declare to you what you eat, and what you store
in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if you did believe;" Qur'an 3:48-
49
Extra Point 2 - The Whole Truth will come through the next Prophet
Also, Jesus tells us that when the next Prophet comes he will come with ALL the
Truth, as at that point in time it was too much for them to bear.
"I have much more to tell you, but now it would be too much for you to bear. When,
however, the Spirit comes, who reveals the truth about God, he will lead you into
ALL the truth." N.T. John 16:13
Muhammad tells us that he is the Seal of the Prophets i.e. the last Prophet to
come to mankind and he brings ALL the Truth:
"Today I [God] have PERFECTED for you your religion and have completed My favour
upon you, and have chosen for you Islam (submission) as your religion." Qur'an 5:3
For those with clear reasoning, the above should already be enough to demonstrate
that Muhammad is a Messenger from God, fulfilling the prophesy of "the comforter"
by virtue of his teachings alone. Incidentally, this should be how we judge
someone. As Jesus taught us, we should judge a tree by it's fruits. A good tree
cannot bear bad fruits and a bad tree cannot bear good fruits. We should judge
Muhammad by his fruits, his teachings. And indeed, his teachings are as pure as
those before him as they are one and the same. However, it is now complete.
According to the Qur'an, Jesus confirmed the Torah (teachings of Moses; 1st 5
books of the Old Testament) and actually named his successor as "Ahmad", meaning
"the most praised". "Muhammad" means "the praised".
"And when `Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus son of Mary) said: O Bani Isra'il (Children of
Israel)! Listen! I am the Rasul'ullah (Messenger of Allah) unto you, confirming
that which was (revealed) before me in the Torah, and bringing Good News of a
Rasul (Messenger) who comes after me, whose name is Ahmad." Qur'an 61:6
So, why are the words "Comforter", "Helper", "Councillor" and "Advocate" used in
today's bible?
"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, who will stay with
you for ever. He is the Spirit who reveals the truth about God." N.T. John 14:16-
17
Where the bible uses different words such as "the Comforter", "the Helper", "the
Councillor", "the Supporter" to denote the following divine guide, the Greek bible
uses only one word and that is "Paraklytos". This literally means "advocate", but
is translated into different words depending upon the version of the bible being
picked up. In some bibles you will see the word "paraclete" - this is the
anglicized version of the word "paraklytos" and actually has no meaning at all.
However, when searched for in dictionaries will give you the meaning of "holy
spirit". This is the assigned meaning for the word through the ignorance of the
masses. Much like the masses thought the world was flat at one point. The masses,
however, are not right...
Jesus spoke and taught in Aramaic/Hebrew as was the language of his region as well
as the market-trading tongue. The original "new testament" scriptures were written
in these languages and not Greek. However, after the Council of Nicea was formed
in 325AD the bible was canonised i.e. basically to remove the teachings that
Emperor Constantine wouldn't like. All other bibles had to be destroyed. And
anyone found owning one of these Aramaic/Hebrew bibles at the time would be put to
death! So, even though Greek was the language of the oppressor i.e. the Greek-
speaking Romans, all we have left today is the version of the oppressor i.e. the
Greek butchered version.
So, what was the original Aramaic word that was used in place of today's Greek,
"Paraklytos" and the Qur'an's Arabic, "Ahmad"?
Well, an initial look into today's Aramaic bible shows that they use the word
"paraqlita". However, like the anglicized "paraclete", the word does not exist in
the language and has been retrofitted to mirror the Greek, "Paraklytos".
So, let us work from another angle. The Qur'an tells us that Jesus named his
successor as "Ahmad". So, if we look at the Arabic word "Ahmad", this means "the
most praised"/"the most praise-worthy". If we translate this into Aramaic we get a
similar word "Mhamda". Lets assume that "Mhamda" was the original Aramaic word and
work from there and see if we get a fit.
Now, interestingly enough, "Mhamda" is a word with dual meaning. Not only does it
mean "the most praised" i.e. the name of the Final Prophet. But it also has the
meaning of "the Comforter"! So, during the removal of the Aramaic/Hebrew
scriptures by the Nicean council, when the texts had to be translated into Greek,
the incorrect word was chosen; the scribes/translators, who did not know that
Jesus was foretelling of a personality/name to succeed him, thought that "the
Comforter" was most appropriate for the sentence as opposed to "the most praised".
So, it may not have been a deliberate alteration of the texts, perhaps more an
uneducated choice of translation. So from that point onwards, "Mhamda" became lost
in translation and became today's Greek "Paraklytos" i.e. "the Comforter" instead
of the other meaning of "Mhamda" being "the most praised", which translates to the
Arabic "Ahmad".
In which case, if the above is true, then Jesus did foretell of "Mhamda"/"Ahmad"
(or Muhammad) coming in the original Aramaic texts, much like the Qur'an said he
did. This was just lost in translation.
Finalising
Hopefully this has cleared up some common misconceptions. And highlighted that
Prophet Muhammad is another one of God's Messengers, filled with the Holy Spirit,
prophesised by Jesus to bring mankind ALL the Truth.
Now, it should stand to logic and reason that given that the Message is the same
it shouldn't really matter which prophet we turn to in order to find the Truth and
live in The Way [of submission to God] as their teachings would be the same. Even
the last Prophet, Muhammad, attests to this telling us that we should not make any
differences between the Messengers/Prophets as God taught us His Message through
them ALL.
"Say: 'We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us and what was
revealed to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes and in (the Books)
given to Moses, Jesus, and the Prophets from their Lord: we make no distinction
between one and another among them, and to Allah [God] do we bow our will (in
Islam [submission])", Qur'an 3:84
However, this is only the case if we were living in the ideal world, free from
corruption and deliberate misguidance. Unfortunately, as we have seen, this is not
the case. We have surely not been warned about false prophets/teachers, by
numerous prophets, for no reason.
"We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it
(from corruption)." Qur'an 15:9
And with this understanding, we can now begin the actual journey back to God, by
returning to The Way [of Submisison], as taught by the Holy Spirit through "the
Comforter", Muhammad.
The first step of returning to "the Way" and submitting to God is to recognise and
attest to the fact that one believes that God exists as a partnerless entity. For
surely God had no helper when creating the heavens, the earth and all between. We
should also be able to recognise and attest to the fact that Muhammad was truly
one of His Messegers.
If one can do that then one should be able to say with certainty the following:
"I bear witness that there is no deity (god) except God, and Muhammad is His
Messenger"
If you have recited that, then you are ready for the Path of Perfection lessons,
and ready to take the next step forward on the true "Way" [of Submission].
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter 5, Addendum - Did Jesus go against his nazirite beliefs to feed fish to
5000 people?
As mentioned earlier, according to Rev. G. J. Ouseley, today's canonical texts are
only a remnant of the original teachings of Jesus, following the shameful
bastardization by the Nicean Council.
"The early Christian Fathers did well their work of destroying the sources and
records from which they gathered the information and data put by them in the
Bible. But they failed to destroy it all. Some escaped, and as it is discovered
here and there by patient research workers, it is astonishing to see how the world
has been deceived by the Christian Fathers.
"The Original Gospel is preserved in one of the Buddhist monasteries in Tibet, and
is written in Aramaic. These 'correctors' (men authorized to 'correct' the text of
Scripture in the interests of what was considered orthodoxy) cut out of the
Gospels with minute care certain teachings of Our Lord's which they did not
propose to 'follow, namely, those against flesh eating, such as accounts of our
Lord's interference, on several occasions, to save animals from ill treatment, and
even the interesting and important teachings ever prominent in Eastern
scriptures."
We have referred elsewhere to the "correctors" who were hired by the Church
Fathers at the Council of Nicea to alter the original text of the Gospels, leaving
out those doctrines that were obnoxious to their emperor, Constantine, whom they
desired to convert to Christianity, which he opposed. Chief among these
objectionable doctrines were the prohibition against the use of flesh meat and
alcohol, and the recommendation of kindness to animals, all of which constituted
the fundamental doctrines of the teachings of Christ. On this point Udny writes:
"The great significance of the corruption of the Text lies rather in the nature of
the matter struct out by the 'correctors' than in the amount. It is evident that
the 'correctors' and those who appointed them were at least unwilling to denounce
their beef and beer, a convenient alliteration for flesh and alcohol."
Reference: http://reluctant-messenger.com/essene/gospel_intro.htm
Seeing as Jesus was compassionate to all life, including animals and had taken a
nazir oath to abstain from eating flesh, then it would not make sense for him to
then feed meat to others, as proposed by the New Testament. Surely, if abstaining
from meat would take one closer to God, then giving it to others would not be
right? So, has the New Testament been modified here in order for Constantine to
keep his meat eating habits apparently inline with the Law??
So, now let us take a look at what the original Aramaic teachings say. Those that
have been preserved and now returned to us in the "Gospel of the Holy 12".
" 4. And the day was far spent, and his disciples came unto him and said, This is
a desert place, and now the time is far passed. Send them away, that they may go
into the country round about into the villages, and buy themselves bread, for they
have nothing to eat.
5. He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him,
Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat?
6. He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew,
they said, Six loaves and seven clusters of grapes. And he commanded them to make
all sit down by companies of fifty upon the grass. And they sat down in ranks by
hundreds and by fifties.
7. And when he had taken the six loaves and the seven clusters of grapes, he
looked up to heaven, and blessed and brake the loaves, and the grapes also and
gave them to his disciples to set before them and they divided them among them
all.
8. And they did all eat and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of
the fragments that were left. And they that did eat of the loaves and of the fruit
were about five thousand men, women and children, and he taught them many things.
9. And when the people had seen and heard, they were filled with gladness and
said, Truly this is that Prophet that should come into the world. "
So, in reality, Jesus NEVER fed 5000 with fish at all. They were clusters of
grapes. It was deliberately changed so that the emperor could continue in his
meat-eating ways.
It is perhaps also worth pointing out here that the original Gospels mention
Jesus, as the Qur'an does, as a Prophet... and not a "son of God".
When we look further into the Gospel of the Holy 12, we find MANY teachings of
compassion to animals e.g. Lection 21: Jesus rebukes cruelty to a Horse, Lection
28: Jesus releases rabbits and pigeons and much more.
For those who wish to find a cleaner version of Jesus' teachings, they should read
the Gospel of the Holy 12 (and other texts such as the Dead Sea Scrolls). For
those that wish to find the WHOLE Truth, they should continue with these chapters
as Jesus did NOT give the WHOLE Truth at that point in time as it was too much for
mankind to bear. But Prophet Muhammad, however, did.
Remember:
"I have much more to tell you, but now it would be too much for you to bear. When,
however, the Spirit comes, who reveals the truth about God, he will lead you into
ALL the truth." N.T. John 16:13
