Q Outline
O This circuit board performs photometry data processing and cuvette wheel rotation control according to instructions from the ANL main CPU, and communication with the ANL circuit board is performed by high-speed digital communication called Arcnet As this circuit board realizes LOG conversion by digital arithmetic processing using a RISC processor, temperature drift from the dependency of the temperature characteristic of the LOG converter can be suppressed.

Q Power supply
O +5 V (for digital system) O r15 V (for analog system) O +24 V (for wheel rotation drive)
Built-in regulator in the circuit board
O +15 V o +12 V (for A/D converter) O 15 V o 12 V (for A/D converter) O +24 V o +5 V (for pulse motor controller)
Q LED indication
O No LEDs
Q Installation
O There are no locations requiring installation
Q Adjustment
O In principle, there is no adjustment on the market. The adjustment contents during manufacture are shown below for reference.
* x The REF voltage for A/D conversion is adjusted with the trimmer R61. x Adjustment is made so that TP16 gets into the range of 10 V r0.5 mV in regard to TP17 This adjustment is performed after supply of power for at least 15 minutes for analog IC aging

x The wavelength setting is put out to OUT21H as 0H to CH for O1 to O13. x Of the specified wavelengths from MV1019 (ANL control circuit board), the main wavelength is measured on the Main side, and the sub-wavelength is measured on the Sub side. x The wavelength for LIH is measured on the Main side for O3, O7, and O9, and on the Sub side for O5, O8, and O13.

(2) One revolution photometry x Measuring is performed consecutively from Cuv. No.48 (P0) for 88 cuvettes. x Measuring with four wavelengths is performed for one cuvette. (First half main: O1, first half sub: O2, last half main: O3, last half sub: O4) x With 88 cuvettes and 13 wavelengths, 44 data are obtained for each wavelength. x After completion of measuring for 88 cuvettes, one revolution (88 cuvettes) is made to return to the origin. (3) DIAG photometry x Measuring is performed from Cuv. No. 48 (P0) consecutively for 13 cuvettes. x Measuring with one wavelength is performed for one cuvette. (Measuring on the Main side and on the Sub side is done with the same wavelength) x The same wavelength as for the first half is used for the last half, but the data are not used. (The data are discarded) x After completion of measuring for 13 cuvettes, one revolution (88 cuvettes) is made to return to the origin. Static photometry x Photometry is performed for the cuvette presently passing through the optical axis. x Photometry is performed for 13 wavelengths, and the raw data, as well as the gain and the OD value at the time of measuring are put out. (The conventional 0% photometry is obtained when the incoming light is cut off. When the wheel is turned by half a pitch, the light is cut off between the holder and the cuvette)

Q Others
(1) (2) Wheel initialization x Stop is performed 10 pulses after origin detection. Analog Switch relation x Please observe the following for D/A/PDA/GND switching, PGA gain switching, u 1/u 16 Amp switching, and wavelength switching. 1) Always set the total gain to u 1 before wavelength switching. 2) Do not select u 1 Amp, u 16 Amp twice or more, independent of Main side and Sub side.
