X NWT SOP Frequency Interference Resolution Process Objective: To ensure activities in managing frequency interference problem and resolution are handled consistently and in a timely manner Scope: This business process covers activities in managing frequency interference in a particular site (either had been handover to MS/ not). It is starting from frequency interference issue found to rolling back the frequency to align with ISR Glossary: HO: Hand Overed ISR: Izin Stasiun Radio (Frequency License) MS: Managed Services TNP: Transmission Network Planning ODU: Outdoor Unit TNI: Transmission Network Implementation IRR: Industrial Relations & Regulatory
1 Report frequency interference issue
MS report frequency interference issue
2 Site had been HO to MS?
MS conduct database checking whether the related site has been handovered to MS or not. If yes, proceed to check the ISR for related site. Otherwise, if No, escalate the issue to Network Implementation team
3 Check ISR and request validation to TNP
MS check ISR for respective site and request validation to TNP KPI: 1 hour

4 Validate ISR and advise temporary solution to MS
TNP validate ISR status for respective site and advise temporary solution to MS team KPI: 1 hour
5 Do frequency scan for temporary trouble shooting
MS do Frequency Scan for initial diagnosis and: - Change The Freq. or - Change the Polarization or - Change the ODU KPI: refer to MS SLA
6 Generate report & distribute to TNP, TNI & IRR
Based on result of temporary trouble shooting, MS generates report to TNP, TNI and IRR team KPI:1 day
7 Analyze Frequency Interference report
TNP analyze MS report regarding frequency interference and check the source of freq. interference KPI: 1 day
8 Interference caused by ext. frequency?
If Yes, proceed to escalate issue to Balmon via IRR. If No, proceed to propose solution to rectify the problem
9 Escalate issue to BALMON via IRR
Escalate issue to BALMON via IRR regarding frequency interference from external sources KPI: 1 day

10 Register frequency interference issue to BALMON
Based on report from MS and TNP, IRR register frequency interference issue to Balmon for rectification KPI: 1 day
BALMON analyze & rectify frequency interference issue registered by AXIS. Upon completion of rectification, BALMON shall send rectification solution letter to AXIS SLA: 4 weeks
12 Receive rectification solution from BALMON
IRR receive rectification solution from BALMON and forward it to related parties KPI: 1 hour
13 Rollback or new solution?
If based on letter from BALMON there should be new solution to rectify the problem then proceed to propose new solution. Otherwise, if frequency interference source can be rectify then site's frequency can be rollback to be aligned with ISR
14 Propose solution to rectify the problem
TNP propose new solution for rectifying frequency interference problem to MS KPI: 1 hour
15 Implement the solution & recheck the interference level
MS implement solution as instructed by TNP and re-check the interference level KPI: 2 (two) days

16 Need new ISR?
If new frequency solution make cause of new ISR then proceed to jump to ISR Process. Otherwise if no changes to ISR then process ends here
17 Instruct to rollback the frequency
TNP instruct MS to rollback the frequency to be aligned with ISR
18 Rollback the frequency to be aligned with ISR
Based on CR from TNP, MS rollback the frequency to be aligned with ISR KPI: 1 hour
19 Escalate to Network Implementation
Due to site not yet handovered to MS/NOP, MS/NOP escalate frequency interference issue to Network Implementation team
20 Escalate to Project Team for rectification
TNI escalate the issue to project team in charge for frequency interference rectification KPI: 1 working day
21 Check plan data & ISR for site
TNI check plan data and ISR for respective site KPI: 1 working day

22 Implemented per plan data?
If the site's frequency has been implemented as per plan data, proceed to consult with TNP for next action plan Otherwise if the implementation is different with plan data due to some circumstances, proceed to rectify problem based on plan data
23 Consult with TNP for next action plan
TNI team consult with TNP team for next action plan. Further activities are depicted in NWT SOP Transmission Network Planning KPI: 1 working day
24 Rectify the problem based on plan data
TNI in coordination with vendor rectify the problem based on plan data. Next activities are depicted in the NWT SOP TI Implementation Process KPI: 1 working day
