The numbers, plain and simple

This chart shows the total compensation (salary plus benefits, expense account, contributions to retirement plans, etc.) of selected employees at selected Santa Fe
nonprofits and the State of New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs. In general, all nonprofit information has been drawn from each organization’s most
recent 990 or 990-EZ “Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax” to the Internal Revenue Service, as posted online at guidestar.org. DCA information
has been drawn from recent responses to Public Records Act requests to the State of New Mexico. Aside from DCA information, therefore, these are not
current-year figures. They relate in most cases to each organization’s 2007 fiscal year, and in a few cases, to 2006 or 2008. Some persons shown are no longer
with the listed organizations at this time, or have moved to different positions within an organization.
