Another popular term for a walker in Britain is rambler. There are rambling clubs across Britain for people to join and enjoy walking in the countryside as a group.

Sometimes landowners dont mind walkers if they keep to the edges of their fields, but some put up barbed-wire fences to prevent people from walking on their land.
