Yes I would like to add a comment. God knows the purpose, plan, and path that he has chosen for us. Our paths are already created for us by God. He has made us to be great. Their is greatness in all of God's righteous people more than we can every imagine. The only way for us to discover it, is to stay in God''s will meaning seeking him first the kingdom of God and all else will be added. Once you fully seek God with your entire heart and not for what's in his hand he will fill your purpose in life. A plan to be greater, a plan to spread God's word, to build God's kingdom that way he may get the glory and not us. Without God we are nothing with him we are everything. To stay in God's will that he has for us is to continue to stay in his word and allow him to use you as a living vessel and he will continue to build you up to live the will that he has for you. Unfortunately some people do not make it to God's will for their life because they don't let go of their own plans.

This is so true!!!! God does have a will for our life, and we have a purpose in everything!!! His will is greater than we can imagine, even though it may be hard to understand it sometimes...powerful message! :)

OK Just tired. It is not about God's will in our lives or for us. I want to know what is God's Will. I have a will and you have a will, God has a will. So many things written about God's will in our lives and so forth, it is His will, and would be His will if we were here or not. Then what is His will. Then what can I do in this life that I may do what He wills. I know it is God's will that all are saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. I know that Our Lord said, to do God's will we are to believe the one He sent. OK. I get it. But just tired of posts saying His will for us or in our lives, and not His Will.

Thanks, Josh. However, you did not include the first of two places in I Thessalonians that states "this is the will of God" namely: "This is the will of God, your sanctification." (1 Thes. 4:3) The verse goes on to apply this to abstaining from sexual immorality. A hard lesson in any era, I guess, unless one has the Holy Spirit. God wants us to be holy, even as He is holy.
