we need YOU TOO !

Dear CERT Family, I just returned from the Andes Mountains of Peru. It was a powerful medical mission ... with mucho Jesus. But, all that for a later date. PLEASE HEAR this urgent need and the cry of your Boca Manu jungle Pastor. Pastor Tomas rushed to Cusco to show me pictures, devastation from the raging rivers unseasonable flooding is mere inches from consuming your church building of four years and the small adjoining house . I could not believe on May 26th, four months past the peak of rainy season, the rivers are still roaring and destroying homesteads. See photos below

We must recruit a team very soon to go help Pastor Tomas and his small flock disassemble and rebuild both buildings. We need you if in this very moment you feel the tug, please don't shrug it off. We need 6 -10 able bodies to go and do the work. We are hoping to go for two weeks in July or early August (maybe two teams?). Please allow me a precious memory recall I will never forget leading the very first construction team, September 2009, to assist Brother Bud Lenz in relocating/building The El Arca Childrens home in Puerto Maldonado Peru. Brother Bud, Papa to the 40 something Peruvian children they care and love for, dumped the first wheelbarrow of concrete into the ground tears of joy flowing from his heart as his dream became reality. The Lord gave me and a few other missionaries the memory of witnessing this Holy of moments. Those of you who are hearing the whisper, feeling the tug can and will experience the same sort of spiritual fulfillment by helping Pastor Tomas follow his dream. We desperately need some to go and we desperately need some to give. As always, we would not ask you to do anything with out prayer. Though I have often heard it said some things you pray about and some things you just know to do. In the picture below you can see pastor Tomas, working alone. He desperately needs us, please prayerfully consider our plea for assistance and Tomas cry for help.
