Workshop 12 Thermal Analysis

Axisymmetric A i t i Pipe Pi with Fins

12. Thermal Analysis

Axisymmetric y Pipe with Fins

Description

Workshop Supplement

INTRO RODUCTIO ON TO ANSYS A - Part Part 1

A pipe with cooling fins is to be analyzed for temperature and thermal flux distributions under given loading conditions (see next page). The model is axisymmetric. Also, only half the fin is modeled, so the bottom of the model is a symmetry boundary.
