Day01 Arrive Kochi * On to Munnar (130 kms / approx. 5 hour drive) Welcome to your tour of 'Super Saver Kerala Dhamaka'. On arrival at Kochi airport or Ernakulam railway station you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Munnar. The rest of the evening is at leisure for independent activities. Overnight in Munnar. Day02 In Munnar Today, enjoy a morning visit to Old Munnar, which includes Eravikulam National Park, the charming old Christ Church with its original fourteen rows of wooden pews. Post lunch, visit Mattupetty Lake which is flanked by steep hills and woods and has been created by the small hydro-electricity dam there. Set in the mountain scenery, once known as the High Range of Travancore, the hill station of Munnar is the commercial centre of some of the world's highest tea growing estates. With its craggy peaks, manicured tea estates and crisp mountain air, Munnar is an ideal retreat. Return to the hotel after sightseeing. The rest of the day is at leisure. You can explore the Tea gardens in the evening on your own. Overnight in Munnar (B) Day03 On to Thekkady (104 kms / approx 5 hour drive) Today drive to Thekkady (Periyar) - the land of the spice plantations. On arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure. You can enjoy a walk through the bustling spice market of Kumily village in Thekkady (On Direct Payment Basis). You can also enjoy periyar boat cruise (on direct payment Basis) or explore local markets for various spices such as cardamom, pepper, kokum, nut meg, clove, cinnamon, coffee, cassia, tamarind and so on. Overnight in Thekkady (B) Day04 On to Alleppey (145 kms / approx. 4hour drive) Today, drive to the idyllic backwaters of Alleppey. On Arrival, check-in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. You can shop for Handicrafts made of natural fibre, metal and woodcraft products such as wall mirrors with antique finish, multi - coloured screw pine boxes, baskets, bags in various sizes, whitewood icons and artifacts are other favourite items found in Kerala. Overnight in Alleppey. (B) Day05 On to Kochi (60 kms / approx. 01 Hour drive) | Return home with happy memories Today bid farewell to your 'Super Saver Kerala Dhamaka' tour, as you are transferred to Kochi airport / Ernakulam railway station for your onward journey.
