Historical Background Opulencia Drug Store, an independent, second generation on family-owned pharmacy was established by Retita Lat Opulencia dated May 17, 1955 after passing the Licensure Pharmaceutical Board Examination. Since 1995, their goal has benn to provide their customer with prompt, efficient, friendly and professional services. The drugstore has been passed down to Engr. Nilo Ilao, son of Mrs. Rosita Lat Opulencia. Presently, the pharmacy is being managed by Mr. Raul Ilao and has itseven employees. As one of the leads privately-owned specially pharmacy in Tanauan, it keeps an offering expert consults services and services. b. Chapter II II. The Existing System

a. Description Opulencia Drug Store started their business on May 17, 1955. Having almost 57 years of their companys existence, their business had been used of practical and simple way in managing their everyday transactions. They are getting their supplies mostly from Manila or even from Leyte, and as to that, Opulencia is the one responsible for the freight charges incurring from the delivery of supplies. With regards to them dealing with transactions, they are doing a manual inventory which is obviously a difficult and unsecure way ofmaking such a record. Their small company, according tou our interview, is open for the usage of modern way in doing their inventory only if the owners son has finished his studies. Since Opulencia Drug Store is not yet on their winning stage of having their expansions, they are thinking that its not yet the right time to use such modern equipments.
