Fixed Bed Reactor Pilot Plant


TRAINING OBJECTIVES

The plant is intended to study phase inversion of sucrose by using fixed bed reactor unit. Experiments to be conducted at various feed rate and reaction temperature to understand the effect on product yield. The weak acid resin bed Amberlite IRC-76 will be used in X-300. The strong acid resin bed Amberlite FPCI2H will be used in main reactor (V-300). The feed and product stream are analyzed by using polarimeter.
