YONGSAN GARRISON — The Spirit of
America marching band came to town with a
musical performance and parade at Collier Soccer
Field Saturday.
More than 200 community members welcomed
the band.
The Spirit of America band members were
fresh from their first place victory in the World
Association of Marching Show Bands
Championships presented on Jeju Island.
During the championship the group competed
against bands from 20 countries from all around
the world.
“The Spirit of America contacted us a year ago
to compete in the championships, and also to give
