It would not be out of turn, or inappropriate in any way, to

appeal to the federal government to allow the present storm

in Perak to subside as quickly as possible. Now, if possible.

There is no need to prolong the present political impasse.

There is no need to continue the fight into the courthouses.

The previous boss, Mr A, must be smiling and grinning from

ear to ear, observing & knowing that his successor is now
deeply entangled in a convoluted political morass.

The politicians have all being stressing about serving the

interests of the people. The interests of the people would
be truly served if the Perak state Assembly is allowed to
be dissolved. And fresh elections held.

The federal government must stop blindly supporting the BN

Mentri Besar in Perak. This man does not have the support
of the people of Perak at all.

The federal government must keep in mind that it is better

to lose Perak and keep Malaysia rather than keep Perak and
lose Malaysia. Right now, the BN is seen as untrustworthy
by the public. BN politicians are at present known to be
involved in several cases of alleged threats made via SMSes
and letters containing bullets against other BN politicians.

The federal government must be aware that the next general

elections could be perhaps only three years away. This is
too short a period to expect the public to forget the many
indiscretions now being committed by the BN politicians.

There is still hope that the central seat of power in the

federal government does yet retain the capability to act
correctly with regard to the present situation in Perak.

The Perak BN's illegal power grab has aroused the disgust
of the people and this disgust could pave the way for more
political tsunamis in the foreseeable future. This must not
be lost on the federal authorities in Putrajaya.

It is a big shame that the illegal power grab was supported

by right-wing groups, the police and the pro-BN media and
many others as well. This shame will not be forgotten for
a very long time to come. Indeed, it would get recorded as
well for posterity's sake. And for the future generations.

The federal government must remember that it does not pay

to protect or support politicians who have been involved
in corruption cases or those who are facing such charges.
The authorities must be aware that it is said that a fish
rots from the head downwards. Therefore the government
must ensure that its head is always free of such rotting
agents at all times. The stink in Perak is already too much
to bear. An indication of how far gone the rotting is.

The federal authorities in Putrajaya must know that it just

cannot afford to countenance a state body that survives on
the dubious support of 'independents' facing charges of
corruption and bribery. Remember the rotting fish story.

If Putrajaya or the BN is still bent on taking the fight to

the bitter end, then the nation can only expect more unrests
and uncertainties for many months, if not many years to come.
Already the people are getting mightily restless over the
endless cases of robberies, murders, rapes, kidnappings &
all the other unmentionable consequences of Dr M's sixty-
million people nightmarish dream.

The country must now decide which step is pointing in the

right direction: to battle it out and confuse the people,
or to end the useless tit-for-tat confrontation and move
on and let the people enjoy peace and tranquility.

The federal government must choose wisely. Mr A still is

observing and watching and smiling. Think about it. Would
you want to share his ignominious record ? He was a total
failure. He was Bapa Kegagalan. The father of failure.

Today is also, incidentally, the fortieth anniversary of

the 5 / 13 incident which was sparked by the failure of the
BN's forerunner, the Alliance, to rule via democratic means.
Those who had lost at the polling booths employed violence
as the means to hold onto power. Fast forward to Perak now.

The central seat of authority in the country must know why

the common people today purchase Camrys over Perdanas and
imported foodstuffs over local produce. It's because the
local people are mightily furious and totally disgusted that
the authorities & the police could protect politicians but
are thoroughly unable to protect ordinary citizens. It is
highly possible that local products will soon get completely
shunned by the public if the present situation continues to
persist indefinitely. Safety can tolerate no compromise.

Nowadays, the streets and corners all over the country are
unsafe, especially after dusk because the police are unable
to go out on patrol. Even the JPJ could not be bothered. As
a result, the hours after dusk are ruled by those who can
be seen cruising the streets and corners on bikes and in
cars always on the lookout for easy pickings.

That's the reality in the country right now. Does the one
occupying the central seat of authority know about it ?
He must start to know now. From today. Right now.
