Residence description Kings Colleges is excited to offer student housing at 1811 Ivar Avenue. The exterior architecture of the buildings is Old Spanish but the interior of each of our units has been modernized by completely renovating them with brand new hardwood flooring and bathroom tiling, granite countertops, kitchen cabinets and stainless steel appliances. Our Ivar House (#2) is a two-story unit with three rooms upstairs (one single and two twins) and a living room and kitchen downstairs. This house fits five students comfortably with two bathrooms and a larger than average kitchen. Residence area description Although located in the heart of Hollywood, it is removed enough to offer a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere away from the fast pace of the area. Furthermore, it is a mere 5-minute walk to the Metro Red Line subway train line connecting North Hollywood with Downtown Los Angeles, and it is only a 10-15 minute walk to Kings Colleges. Plus, Ivar Avenue is home to Hollywoods renowned Farmers Market, which is an open market on Sunday mornings. During Student Orientation on your first day at Kings Colleges, you must pay a residence housing deposit of $200 (refundable pending room inspection upon exiting). Only payment by credit card is accepted (no debit or cash cards) as this allows the charge to be reversed after your departure.
