Ashada navaratri A navaratri that is celebrated in ashada maasa mostly in uttarpradesh and madhyapradesh also known as ashada navaratri, varahi navratri, gupta navaratri, guhya navaratri(Himachal Pradesh), gayatri navaratri starts from day one of Ashada and ends on the night day of the ashadam. This is dedicated to goddess Varahi. Varahi is one of the seven mothers commonly known as saptamatrika.

Ashada Navratri, also known as Gupt Navratri or Varahi Navratri, is a 9-day festival dedicated to Goddess Varahi Devi. It is observed in Shukla paksha of Ashad Month. This Navratri festival is also known as Guhya navratri in Himmachal Pradesh. Gupt or Guhya means the hidden.
