Below is a consolidated list of impacts on services at Joint Base LewisMcChord as a result of the furlough of many civilian employees on the

base due to sequestration. Furloughs begin the week of July 8 and continue through September 30: Madigan Army Medical Center, see page 3 (below) Military Personnel Division Waller Hall (Lewis-Main) Closed for customer service on Fridays, including: Pass and ID offices Finance In/Out processing Retirement services Transition point (DD-214s, orders, etc.) Reassignments Soldier Readiness Center eMILPO appointments only Casualty office open w/ minimal manning limited services are available Education Centers (Stone, Hawk & McChord) Closed for academic advising, testing, computer lab, and administrative services on Fridays Colleges and Universities open normal hours NOTE: College classes will be held and Facility reservations honored DHR Administrative Service division closed Fridays No Official Mail/Reduced personal mail (report to USPS) No publications, all offices closed DFAS Finance - In and out processing customer service Waller Hall office closed Fridays Provost Marshall Vehicle/weapons registration/installation access- Waller Hall office closed Fridays DHR Army Substance Abuse Services Building 2008 and Building 3725 Closed on Fridays No Drug Testing Services No Clinical Services No Prevention Services (Including Risk Reduction and Suicide Prevention) No Employee Assistance Program Services McChord Drug Testing Contact Kerry Bringman 982-2246 Unit Prevention Leader Course will be held 8-12 Jul, 12-16 Aug, 9-13 Sep
Carlson/Sato (Waller Hall) Contractor will provide services during the furlough period for walk ins and emergencies. If the customer needs deployment or special has special circumstances they will have to wait until Monday.

Emergency Services 911 Center will continue 24/7 operations, but supervisory/admin staff levels will be reduced

Maintenance and Logistics Support Maintenance delays will occur in all functional maintenance areas of the DOL, due to reduced staff Includes Wheeled Vehicles, Small Arms, Communications and Electronics, Artillery, Fork Lift, National Maintenance, Generators, Welding, Vehicle Inspections Ammunition Supply Point Reduced hours of operation, due to reduction in staff availability Units should plan for delays in coordinating ammunition turn-in after ranges are closed Supply Support Activities Reduced hours of operation or services, due to reduction in staff availability. Includes: Issue/turn in at the Central Receiving Point, Found on Installation, and Returned Materiel offices Passenger Travel Use of Central Billed Accounts will be reduced for Group Travel Availability of personnel to process transportation billing, assist travelers with transportation issues will be reduced Cargo Freight Processing of transportation requests for inbound and outbound cargo may be delayed, due to reduced staff availability Unit Movements Preparation for the movement of unit equipment and personnel may be delayed, due to reduced staff availability Individual & Household Goods Shipments Lewis Main and McChord Field JPPSO locations will remain open regular operating hours Walk-in customers may experience extended wait times (2 Hours, or more) Booking of shipments for PCS, ETS, retirement, or deployment may be delayed due to reduced staff availability. Commissaries on Lewis-Main and McChord Field Closed Mondays.

Pharmacy The following service reductions will take effect: Madigan Outpatient Pharmacy; closed on Saturdays (July 13 Sept. 28) Mini-Mall pharmacy; closed on Tuesdays (July 9 Sept. 24) Pharmacy pick-up and drive-through will be open 9 a.m. 4 p.m., Monday-Friday Customers at all locations may experience longer wait times, due to reduced staff Madigan Family Medicine Okubo Clinic Winder Clinic Closed on Fridays for routine care (July 12 Sept. 27) Madigan Family Medicine will be open Friday for acute care patients by appointment Puyallup Clinic and South Sound Clinic (Olympia) Closed on Fridays (July 12 Sept. 27) For an urgent care authorization, contact the Regional Appointment Center McChord Medical Clinic Remains open five days a week Patients may experience longer wait times, due to reduced staffing Internal Medicine (MAMC) Pediatrics (MAMC) OB/GYN Clinic (MAMC) Radiology (MAMC) Laboratory (MAMC) Remains open five days a week Patients may experience longer wait times, due to reduced staffing Audiology (MAMC) Walk-in hearing aid repairs will not be available on Monday and Friday Allergy/Immunology (MAMC) Walk-in appointments for vaccinations/shots will not be available on Friday Orthotics (MAMC) Walk-in appointments, orthotic supply issue will not be available on Friday Ears, Nose & Throat (ENT) (MAMC) Walk-in service for ear cleaning, allergy drops, and shots has been suspended Wound Care Clinic (MAMC) Closed to walk-in appointments on Tuesday and Friday Limited walk-in appointments on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
