Mirahs Crafts Ribbon Yarn, wide Color A: #726-C (Garnet), 7 skeins (20 yds. ea) Color B: #919-C (Orange), 7 skeins (20 yds. ea) Color C: #V10-92 (Green), 5 skeins (20 yds. ea) Crochet Hook, size L (8 mm) Tapestry Needle

Instructions:

Small Circle Motif: (Make 3 Color A, 4 Color B) Rnd 1: Ch 2, 12 sc in 2nd ch from hook; sl st to first sc to join. Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same st, 2 dc in each st around; join with sl st to top of ch 3 (24 dc). Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc in next dc and in each st around; join with sl st to top of ch 3. Fasten off. Leaves: (Make 11, Color C) Ch 12; sc in 2nd ch, hdc in next ch, 2 dc in next ch, (dc, tr in next ch), 2 tr in each of next 2 ch, (tr, dc in next ch), 2 dc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch, 3 sc in last ch. Assembly:

On a flat surface, mark or tape a 16 by 35 rectangle to aid alignment. Using the photograph and template as a guide, place all leaves and motifs RS up, starting at a short end of the rectangle. Adjust them to fit together so that edges are touching and large gaps are eliminated. Starting at a short end, use appropriate color batik ribbon and tapestry needle to sew motifs/leaves together, RS facing, adding a few at a time. Use an overhand stitch, taking care to keep the seams flat. Hints: It helps to adjust flower petals before sewing by pulling on each petal to make them even. You can also lightly press the WS of each piece before stitching them in place.
