Skill Set
Processor & Controller: 8085/8051/ARM7/ARM Cortex-A9 Ability to understand and explain embedded projects Language: Assembly Language, C, Embedded C, VHDL Operating System: Windows, Linux Other: Used DOS scripting, Clear Case, DDR2

Major Project
1. DB8500 Memories Compatibility test (Post silicon validation) The goal of this project was to test and obtain generic (& robust) settings to make the ST Ericssons Application Processor Engine compatible with different available memories. The goal was achieved in multiple steps like, testing the memory with standard sample of APE (DB8500) and memory dedicated settings, after that testing the robustness of the memory with dedicated settings and then same process including robustness tests was repeated with the generic settings which followed the JEDEC standards. These whole processes were repeated with slow and fast corners of the APE. Responsibilities: a) b) c) d) Modify memory settings Flash boot script Execute & debug the basic & regression tests and analyse the results Discuss and make the conclusion based on results

Tools Used: a) Tool: ARM-Debugger ICE b) Software: SBAG/Lauterbatch c) Language: Embedded C 2. System (DB8500) Performance and Analysis for Mobile Critical UseCases (Post silicon validation) This project was to test the performance of ST Ericssons APE in terms of data rate in different power modes and in single as well as in multiple initiator use cases. Here initiators are the different IPs of the system which can request the system bus simultaneously or in standalone case for data communication. Thus the aim of the project extends to test and remove if any bottleneck persists. My responsibility in this project was to test the performance and analyse the results in single initiator use case at different operating frequencies and different power modes. Responsibilities: a) Measure the performance of IP in single initiator usecase on system level in low power & no low power mode at various OPP b) Analyse the results & correlate with previous results c) Measure the peripheral access time/clocks Tools Used: a) Tool: ARM-Debugger ICE b) Software: SBAG/Lauterbatch c) Language: Embedded C 3. Remote Sound Detection Using Laser The aim of this project is to retrieve the audio information inside a room from remote location. It uses the concept of acoustic wave that any sound wave near a window causes a slight movement in the window. The main parts of this project was to design a detector circuit, choose a window, install the setup, data acquisition and reconstruct the signal using proper filters.

Responsibilities: a) b) c) d) e) Tools Used: Study the properties of sound waves, LASER Study of Photo diodes Study and modification of light detection circuit Installation of setup and Data aqusition
