ROSARY Apostles Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth ; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord ; Who w as conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, w as crucified, died and w as buried. He descended into hell ; the third day He arose again from the dead ; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty ; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

The Our Father


Our Father, w ho art in heaven, hallow ed be thy name : thy kingdom come : thy w ill be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread : and forgive us our trespasses as w e forgive those w ho trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation : but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Glory be to the Father


Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it w as in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, w orld w ithout end. Amen.

The Hail Mary


Hail Mary, full of grace ; the Lord is w ith thee : blessed art thou among w omen, and blessed is the fruit of thy w omb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Joyful Mysteries
The Angel of the Lord announced to Mary that she w ould become the Mother of the Saviour. The Word became flesh and lived among us. I- The Annunciation : A. Mary said to the Angel: "I am the servant of the Lord." B. In the Eucharist, Jesus show s himself as the True Bread come dow n from Heaven. C. Let us pray that w e may alw ays remain faithful to our vocation. II- The Visitation : A. Mary exclaimed; "My soul rejoices in the Lord. He has looked on his low ly servant." B. In the Eucharist, Jesus fulfils his promise to be w ith us alw ays, until the end of time. C. Let us pray in thanksgiving for the w onderful things God has accomplished in each of us. III- The Birth of Our Lord : A. After the birth of Jesus w e are told in the Gospels that Mary pondered all these things in her heart. B. In the Eucharist, Jesus fulfils his promise to give us life in abundance. C. Let us pray that w e may alw ays meditate on the Word of God and the Mystery of his Love. IV-The Presentation of Jesus in the Tem ple : A. Simeon said to Mary; " A sw ord of sorrow w ill pierce your heart." B. In the Eucharist, Jesus fulfils his promise to be forever our light and our food for the journey. C. Let us pray for the grace to bear w itness to Christ at all times, in spite of persecution. V- The finding of Jesus in the Tem ple : A. Jesus said to his parents: "Did you not know that I must be about my Father's affairs". They did not understand w hat he w as saying. Mary, how ever, treasured all these w ords in her heart. B. In the Eucharist Jesus fulfils his promise to lead us to the Father. C. Let us pray for aw areness of God and of his love in all our trials.

Sorrowful Mysteries
Christ frees us from our sins by revealing to us, from the Cross, the never ending love of God. Mary calls us to do penance and to pray for sinners. I - The Agony in the Garden : A. Jesus said: "Watch and pray not to be led into temptation." B. In the Eucharist, Jesus becomes our mediator w ith the Father. C. Together w ith Mary let us ask the Father that w e may be faithful to his loving w ill. II - The Scourging at the Pillar : A. Jesus is tortured by the solders. B. In the Eucharist, Jesus show s us the value of suffering for love. C. Together w ith Mary, let us pray for all the sick and those w ho suffer in their bodies.

III - The Crow ning w ith Thorns : A. Christ the King is mocked and ridiculed. B. In the Eucharist, Jesus show s us his complete humbling of himself in love and his being raised. C. Together w ith Mary, let us pray to the Father for those w ho are misunderstood or rejected by society. IV - Jesus carried his Cross : A. Father, lead us not into temptation. B. Let us pray for those w ho struggle w ith temptation. V - The Crucifixion : A. Jesus carries his cross to the place of punishment. B. In the Eucharist, Jesus gives us the strength to carry our crosses behind him. C. Together w ith Mary let us pray for those w ho are tempted to cow ardice or despair, let us pray for sinners.

Glorious Mysteries
Christ, yesterday, Christ, to-day Christ for all eternity. Let us journey together tow ards the light of the risen Christ. I - The Resurrection : A. Rejoice, O Virgin Mary, Jesus your Son has risen as he said. B. In the Eucharist, Jesus fulfils his promise to be our resurrection and our life. C. Let us pray for those w ho can see no direction in their lives. II - The Ascension of Our Lord into Heaven : A. Rejoice, O Virgin Mary, Jesus your Son Jesus has gone to the Father to prepare a place for us. B. In the Eucharist Jesus, Jesus fulfils his promise to be our food for eternal life. C. Let us pray for all w ho are unable to believe in the reality of an eternal life. III - The descend of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles : A. Rejoice, O Virgin Mary, the Spirit of Love sends us to bring the Good New s to the poor. B. In the Eucharist, Jesus fulfils his promise to make us One Body in the Spirit. C. Let us that w e may be true w itnesses of the Gospel to those w ho listen to w hat w e say. IV - The Assum ption of Our Lady into Heaven : A. Rejoice, O Virgin Mary, you have found favour before God. Happy are you w ho believed. B. In the Eucharist, w e celebrate the Death and Resurrection of Christ until he comes again in glory. C. Let us pray for those w ho search and w ho doubt for those w ho are tempted to despair. V - The Coronation of Mary in Heaven : A. Rejoice, O Virgin Mary, the Spirit of God w ill bring together in one family all the peoples of the earth.Mary proclaims again : "He remembers his servant in her nothingness." B. In the Eucharist, Jesus gathers people from every nation, language and w ay of life around the one table C. Let us pray for peace in our families, our communities and betw een nations.

Mysteries of Light
The First Mystery of Light: The Baptism of the Lord in the Jordan 1 "You are my Son, the Beloved; my favour rests on you." 2. With Mary, let us realise fully that w e are children of God. The Second Mystery of Light: The Wedding at Cana 1. "Mary said to the servants: 'Do w hatever he tells you.'" 2. Like Mary, let us do w hat the Lord tells us. The Third Mystery of Light: Jesus proclaim s the Kingdom of Go d 1. "Jesus said: Repent and believe in the Good New s." 2. In Lourdes and elsew here, Mary calls us to conversion. Let us listen to that call. The Fourth Mystery of Light: The Transfiguration 1. "Lord, it is good for us to be here." 2. Like Mary, let us allow ourselves to be transfigured by the Holy Spirit

The Fifth Mystery of Light: Jesus gives us the Eucharist. 1. Jesus says to us; "Do this as a memorial of me" 2. With Mary, let us be united in Christ's saving passion and resurrection.

Salve Regna
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy ! our life, our sw eetness, and our hope ! To thee do w e cry, poor banished children of Eve ; to thee do w e send up our sighs, mourning and w eeping in this valley, of tears. Turn, then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy tow ard us ; and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy w omb, Jesus ; O clement, O loving, O sw eet Virgin Mary.
