SO i used to go to a lot of dodgers games a few years ago...then i stopped for a lengthy time..

and finally got a free ticket this year so i decided to take the chance and see if they really are the "new blue' dodgers...

with a whole new nicer atmosphere...some things definitely were newer and nicer..including more smiling faces..and less growling security wannabe latino guards..albeit more professional police...; however, the entrance experience remained the same with a "proud latino" calling me "buddy" in a condescending manner as he did the baggage check .

So I said "Thanks buddy" in the same tone after he let me thru. Inside they've made some nice changes..and I even saw the dodgers name in red on the electronic boards..that was a relief..TOO MUCH BLUE can get tiring to be honest.

I wanted to see Yasiel Puig play but he was out with an injury so I left early...

my REAL BAD experience happened outside the stadium when I got back to my car and found the window shattered, my laptop stolen, and my car battery stolen as well! What a nightmare. I can't blame dodger security because I parked outside the stadium in a place 3

where I used to park all the time with no problem. However, as I sat there for two hours calling different people and places not a single police officer drove by (later, they said that most of the police were helping out at a freeway incident..a oil tanker overturned and exploded on the 5 freeway nearby), albeit one parking person did drive by and when I tried to wave her down she wouldn't stop. Anyways, the break-in is a whole different story, but obviously feels like part of my dodger game experience.

My temporary cover for the broken window

AFTER the game, actually I left early, so after the 3rd inning or so i returned to my car and found the window shattered..you can see above the window after i taped it up with some stuff just as temporary cover..they also stole the battery so I couldn't drive away...had to have it towed..also they tore out a bunch of batteries to the fuse box so it cost me $200 to get the fuse wires back in place (labor only)

A guy at this place said he could fix it on Sunday (7/14) but when I towed it over there he said they closed at 2pm and he wouldnt be able to get to it until Monday (Why didnt he tell me they close at 2pm before I had it towed?). Because of his lack of disclosure I had it towed elsewhere

with him on Sunday Morning..and he said bring it in at 8ambut he turned out to be a real terrible person..so I had to tow it again, elsewhere (Tow #4)

..so I towed it to Georges

Finally I got it towed to a much better placeand this guys mechanics were able to do the work ($200)

I took a picture of the diagram he printed out to try to re-connect the fuse wires

he fixed it..and later I got the window fixed ($60)..ironically at the same time my power steering started acting up..and I had to get it flushed ($140) (fortunately did not need a whole new power steering pump)

So byTuesday I finally got everything back together againbut was still without my old laptop, which fortunately is not a huge loss because it was getting old and hard to use, but still, ;
