ST. MARTIN DE PORRES: St. Martin de Porres will provide
lunches for the Union Mission next Sunday, May 24. If you can
donate any of the following, please bring them to the parish hall
before 11:30am; peanut butter and jelly or bologna and cheese
sandwiches in individual sandwich bags, fruit (oranges or ba-
nanas preferred), bags of mini candy bars, and powdered lemon-
ade mix. We also need volunteers to help pack the lunches fol-
lowing the 10:30 Mass.

Pick up your rosary beads and make your favorite dessert to
share. We’re having a very special evening. The St. An-
drew Knights of Columbus are celebrating Church Family
and Our Blessed Mother. On Monday, May 18th starting at
7:00pm the St. Andrew Church Family will meet in the
church, pray the Miraculous Medal Novena and the Rosary
to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, and pray for special in-
tentions. Afterwards, we will gather in the Multi-purpose
room and share desserts. The Knights will provide ice
cream and each family is invited to bring a dessert to share
(and recipes too, if not a secret).

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: The Adoration Chapel will be

VENTURING CREW 2006: St. Andrew has a new scouting unit for
young men and women who are 14 (and have completed the eighth
grade) through 20 years of age. The Venturing program provides
opportunities that are fun and full of challenge and adventure.
Through these experiences, you will acquire skills in areas of high
adventure, sports, arts and hobbies, and religious life. Contact

The Religious Education Department would like all parishioners to
know that the Summer Religious Education program will run from
June 1st through June 5th . The children will be attending the
9:00am mass each day and the masses may run a little longer.
Also, the children will be in and out of Adoration during that week
especially on Wednesday, June 3rd.

EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS: The Annual
Archdiocesan Eucharistic Congress will take
place on Friday evening, June 12th and all day
Saturday, June 13th at the Georgia International
Convention Center in Atlanta (near the airport).
This is a free event, no tickets or reservations required. Friday eve-
ning will feature a Mass followed by a Healing Service and the RE-
VIVE track for Young Adults. Saturday’s presentations by internation-
ally known speakers and the day will conclude with the Vigil Mass.

aries of the Poor’s concert “Isaiah”. If you are interested in selling

RIVER RUN FOR HOPE: Saturday, June 6th at St. Andrews
Catholic Church Helping Hands Medical Missions is sponsoring a 5K
Fun Run along the Chattahoochee River. All proceeds will support
the Helping Hands Medical Missions (HHMM) in providing medical
care, hope and spiritual support to people in rural areas of Africa.
HHMM is a non-profit organization that was established in 1996, and
has since served more than 100,000 patients in 8 countries through
participants who volunteer their time, service and medical supplies,
along with donations from companies, hospitals and individuals.

El Congreso Eucarístico Diocesano Anual
tendrá lugar la tarde del Viernes 12 de Junio y
durante todo el día del Sábado 13 de Junio, en
el Georgia International Convención Center de
Atlanta (cerca del Aeropuerto). Se trata de un evento gratuito, no
requiere tickets ni reservaciones. El Viernes por la tarde se celebrará
una Misa seguida del Servicio de Sanación y la trayectoria de REVI-
VE para Adultos Jóvenes. Las presentaciones del Sábado estarán a
cargo de conferencistas/oradores de amplia trayectoria internacional
y las actividades del día concluirán con la celebración de la Misa de
Vigilia. Petición Especial: si usted esta sirviendo en una de las mu-
chas opciones de voluntariado, en el Congreso Eucarístico de este

Para recibir los SACRAMENTOS en nuestra Iglesia es necesario estar inscri-
tos en la Parroquia, durante un lapso mínimo de 3 meses y cumplir con los
deberes de nuestra religión.
CONFESIONES: En Español: Lunes de 7:00 pm a 9:00pm /
Oficina del Padre Juan.
REQUISITOS: Estar registrados en la Parroquia por lo
menos durante 3 meses. Acta de Nacimiento del niño/a. Los
padrinos deben ser Católicos activos y haber recibido los Sacra-
mentos del Bautismo, Primera Comunión y Confirmación. Ca-
sados: Certificado de Matrimonio. Solteros: mayores de 16 años de edad.
Certificado de Bautismo.
Pláticas de Preparación: Se requiere la asistencia obligatoria de los pa-
dres y los padrinos en el Salón RCIA. No hay guardería. Primer Martes del
mes de 7:30pm – 9:00pm
Ceremonia Bautismal: En la Capilla, segundo Sábado del mes, a las
11:00am
MATRIMONIOS
Requisitos: Estar inscritos en la Parroquia. Reunirse con el Sacer-
dote. Participar en el curso de preparación LLASU (Llamados A Ser
Uno). Reservar la fecha con 6 meses de anticipación. Consignar los
documentos de Bautizo y/o Confirmación.
