`YEE DC Current Source is specially designed for used in Traction motor testing. Panel shall consist of the following: 1. Step down transformer: A double wound transformer is used for supply high Current for diodes. 2. Regulating Transformer : A Regulating transformer is used for controlling output and current from zero to maximum. 3. Analog meter : 96 x 96 sq.mm. Amperemeter to indicate the output current through voltage

CT of class 1.0 accuracy having range 0-400 Amp in steps. 4. Analog Voltmeter 5. Line on Indicator 6. Main ON/OFF switch 7. Output : 96 x 96 Multi range 0-150V DC. : Indicators are provided for input & output indication.

: Double pole ON/OFF is provided for input ON and OFF. : Output is brought on aluminium bus-bars terminals.

All the unit shall be housed in MS sheet body supported with angle iron frame and caster wheels. Description DC power supply or (DC rectifiers)

DC power supply will be designed to supply 400Amps DC current with variable dc voltage 0-150V. Modification can be implemented in future as per enhanced requirement with additional price. DC power supply will be tested for maximum 400Amps short circuit with 150V (OCV) and long duration test with water load due to unavailability of suitable load for which it will be designed. Complete successful performance, safety norms and IR test will be verified at the time of inspection. The DC Power Supply will be three phase oil cooled type with fan arrangement. Duty of PS will be continuous and output voltage and current rating will be as per requirement. DC Power Supply will consist of step down Transformer, diode section with

cooling fins. And filter circuit for ensuring maximum power transfer to load with least impedance. We will reduce ripples as low as possible by suitable RC circuit, so that magnetic heating with higher order harmonics can be reduced. Load other than DC traction motor can damage the power supply. Provision for higher current output will not be provided. The complete system of equipment shall consist of control panel with oil cooled regulating transformer and star-delta oil cooled step down transformer on top rectifiers unit with cooling fan with bus-bar as output. The equipment shall be warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months from inspection. This excludes normal wear and tear, breakage, burning, fusing, damages due to incoming power supply, improper handling, consequential and in-transit damages.
