KUSHAL MAKHIJA True to my name Kushal I am skillful, strategic and efficient.

I was born and brought up in a joint family, which means lots of love, happiness sharing and above all values. We have family members from different - different sectors, which provide me diverse knowledge and add to my contacts base. I belong to the city of Ghaziabad, which is one of the fastest growing cities of the world and industrial hub of Uttar Pradesh. I have done Bachelor of Business Economics (Hons.) from S. G. T. B. Khalsa College North Campus, University of Delhi. I have been good in academics throughout, and have won constant appreciation in terms of best case studies, editorials, project works, presentations and assignments etc. Also I have experience of an internship at Standard Chartered Finance Ltd in process analysis and risk underwriting, under the guidance of country head sales. It has helped me to understand the essence of sales, lending, risk and analytics. During my college I was an active member of Business Economics Society Raah, and have organized, headed or assisted in organizing various events like Inter - College Business Treasure Hunt Competition, National Level Seminar, Inter College Fest etc. I have also served as a college head for an NGO Leaders For Tomorrow wherein have organized, headed or assisted in organizing various events like Anti Drugs Anti Ragging Campaign, Development Festival - A Date with Development, Inter - College Social Quiz Competition etc. also have assisted in individual event of various NGO like Human Right Law Network, YWCA, Search Foundation, Jhamghat, etc. I follow a multidimensional approach for goals in life, which include balancing of personal life, career goals, fitness goals, social goals, hobby goals and spiritual goals etc. Elaborating on my career goals, I am currently doing an MBA. Pursuing an MBA would provide me a holistic view of how businesses work and enhance my soft skills. Immediately after my MBA, I wish to start my career with a global consulting firm or a bank. Where I could acquire domain expertise and put to practical use frameworks and methodologies I learn in B-School. Long term, I want to move into the corporate strategy team of a company and rise through the ranks to the top where I could head and execute strategic decisions for the company. Since I am from commerce and business economics background as compared to majority IT engineers I will try to add different point of view to the batch. Further my key strength include that I am open to feedbacks, adaptive, ability to look things in entirety, making things out of waste material, flexible, proactive, optimistic, good in planning and organizing things, good team player, creative and focused person which will add value to the batch. I look forward to join one club or committee so that I could make direct contribution in that area. Also I am a person who looks forward to learn new things and take initiative whenever required, will keep doing this.
