CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT
Fees
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Payment must be made before commencement of the course. Payment should be made by cash, cheque or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Cheque should be made payable to SPEAK COLLEGE. Fees cannot be refunded or transferred after enrolment, (except where courses are cancelled. See condition 4). If you leave your course mid-way through you cannot give your place to anybody else. LA LINGUA cannot be responsible for cancellations as a result of students work commitments or other personal circumstances. Therefore fees cannot be refunded in these cases. Where minimum enrolments are not reached courses may be cancelled. Fees will be refunded in full within two weeks by cheque. LA LINGUA has the right to alter the published schedule and teacher at short notice. Any materials published by LA LINGUA (including promotional material, course outlines, guides and other course information) are subject to copyright laws and as such may not be copied or distributed without prior authorization from LA LINGUA. If copyright laws are breached in any way, the matter will be settled in court.

Holidays/Leave
8. For LOTE courses, holidays will only be permitted for students who enrol for two courses i.e. 16 weeks. The only time a holiday will be permitted will be in between the two courses. Students cannot alter their enrolment period after they have enrolled. 9. Students taking holidays must give at least two weeks notice. Holidays must be taken in two-week blocks. Students of Mandarin, Japanese and Spanish course must be take holidays in four-week blocks. Course commencement dates must be consulted when planning holiday dates as holidays must coincide with course enrolment dates. 10. If a student is aware that some other event will interfere with the period of enrolment, LA LINGUA must be informed before enrolment is complete. If a holiday is planned for during the enrolment period, the following information should be completed. Yes O No O Will you be taking a holiday? Individual Lessons
11. Students enrolled in individual lessons must inform LA LINGUA of any cancellation by four oclock on the day prior to the lesson. Notification after this time will result in lesson ticket invalidation.

Excursions/Indemnity
12. In regard to excursions students should note the following: I. If any activity, act or deed is undertaken by students of LA LINGUA, outside of the schools premises, students should be aware that they are doing so at their own risk. II. LA LINGUA accepts no responsibility for any accident or injury involving students of the school, which may occur during class time outside the school premises. III. During excursions away from the school, students are responsible for themselves. Neither LA LINGUA nor the teachers of LA LINGUA are liable in any way. IV. LA LINGUA cannot be held accountable for any loss to property or person that may occur during class-time, where classes may be held outside LA LINGUA premises.
